Re: Arguelles TB4004
I figured it out too I tried to make a soundfont a long time ago, (with samples from tb4004). It was not finished back then. I read from the soundfont: fat moog: *root +4 cents *root -4 cents *root +12 semitones *root -12 semitones moog 5th: *root *root +3 cents *root -3 cents *root +3 cents +7 semi...

Re: what do you guys use for multitrack drums?
I tried wavosaur (free) some time ago for batch processing. It has a small set of batch processing stuff, like converting a directorie with 24 bit samples to 32 bit, etc, and you can include subdirectories. It worked for some stuff for me. Also, the old UTrk (not 2), combined with the old polac out ...

Re: Sudden weird UnwieldyTracker2 glitch
in short
open gear_defaults.xml with windows notepad and
add "2" after the word Fuzzpilz UnwieldyTracker,
and save as gear.xml.
(maybe I shouldn't use that many words to say something )

Re: Sudden weird UnwieldyTracker2 glitch
mutithreading is something that is not compatible with some buzzmachines (like UTrk) (look here http://forums.jeskola.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=173) all you have do do is go to settings -> engine and set multithreading to false and then if the problem stops, then multithreading was the problem. (y...

Re: Infinite Highway - unfinished abstract house
(like my comment on buzztunes..:) I love it !! I like it if the next contest would be about remixing Magmavander's Highway. The infinite highway to reach Magmavander's house to drink a cup of coffee. Jenny did a good job !!!. Now if everybody remixes your track, and then we glue everything together ...

Re: Sudden weird UnwieldyTracker2 glitch
Maybe try settings: disable multithreading. (and check if these lines are there in your gear.xml which is in the buzz/gear folder: <Machine Name="Fuzzpilz UnwieldyTracker" Multithreading="False"/> <Machine Name="Fuzzpilz UnwieldyTracker2" Multithreading="False"...

Re: "Backwards" Reverb and Delay (without recording/playback
Thanks Szaszhareen, I made another delay with the help of CnG Recorder. (--With-- Recording/Playback) The nice thing about this is that you can put feedback fx (like pitchshifting) to it. (or whatever fx you want) CnGRecorder-as-a-Delay.zip Machines used are: Dry: -CnG Recorder -FSM Infector -Fuzzpi...

Re: Changed directories for VST's, getting errors.
Maybe it has something to do with plugins that are not installed with administrator rights and/or that it sees itself as unregistered oslt.
Also, ..sometimes 64 bit stuff don't go together with 32 bit stuff.

a few other (less obvious) tips: Machineview: - doubleclick on mousewheel: centering and zooming to zoom level 0 - settings -> machine view -> ZoomMouseGesture: ctrl + mousewheel and only use the vertical view-space to put machines (I thought this would be a handicap, but being limited to scroll onl...

Re: Using "ld Grain" as a Beat Slicer / Time-stretcher
In my memory: if it has ever crashed buzz, it was in the old buzz 1.2 , but I never found proof that it was ld Grain that caused it. reliable: It has a little -inertia- bug though, that I sometimes noticed when reloading a song while buzz speed (bpm+tpb) is too high. (other people have had the same)...

Well, I've tried around some and imao it just sounds very sour... But maybe my ears are destroyed by the nazi-western standard. I have had that same experience, and the same by lowering the frequency another 32 cents, like evelon did, but the only difference I could imagine is that if you listen to...

Re: One stupid question
In BTDSys Peer Ctrl you can turn values upside down (see the black window on the right when assigning parameters to it). .. so a value of F000 would be 1000 and so.. rotating values: you can make a selection (in pattern xp) and use ctrl + w , or ctrl + shift + w, to cycle values up/down (changing th...

Re: Buzz workflow: tips and tricks
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12332475/basictemplate.PNG the 3 mix machines are mixio. the multi just has the limiter set. I often change the effect machines or the multi later on, but this allows me to seperate stuff from the beginning. I see that when you connect to the delay mix, you have ...

Re: Buzz workflow: tips and tricks
i tried making one a while back and it just became overly complicated. ..happens to me also :) I made a very complicated startup-bmx 2 days ago, while there were just 2 effects applied. Years ago, my startup-bmx was called 5 x MTrk, and my first song had the same name after that :( , so I have to b...

Re: Buzz workflow: tips and tricks
If I understand your question right, (and to answer topics in other recent threads about integrating polacVST and mixers) I would say that every person would like his own (based on buzz modularity) startup bmx: - a startup bmx on your desktop while double-clicked opens buzz the way you would like to...
