Re: Farbrausch V2 GUI
Great, BR808 isn't displaying a GUI either. At least, not in Cubase. As a standalone, it works fine. None of my other plugins are doing this. Should I just give up? No! Don't give up! While I want to help, if the standalone works, and the plugin fails in Cubase - maybe someone on a cubase forum can...

Re: Farbrausch V2 GUI
Tinga, how about a tutorial? I can change the speech in your example and in beRo's, but I can't seem to make my own talking patch from scratch 1- Select instrument (the 3 boxes Instruments Global Export) 2- click on "speech" and create your sentences (128 presets possible) 3-now to play y...

Re: Farbrausch V2 GUI
Just as an FYI to all you all interested in getting FV2 to work: BR808 (was $, now freeware) is very akin to it (it's by one of the same Farbrausch guys who dev'd FV2). IMO, the speech synthesis system in BR808 looks much more promising. (Tinga, how about a tutorial? I can change the speech in your ...

cng recorder issue using external MIDI
Excited that cng is usable again.
Using Polac internal MIDI for recording on/off via MIDI note is working nicely, but sending MIDI from an external device results in this error:

Anybody else able to toggle recording via external MIDI?

Re: Using LoopBe as midi input
I want to send midi to Buzz from another program using LoopBe, but I'm stuck on how to set it up. Connecting Internal Midi or Internal Midi (x64) to a machine doesn't produce any sound and I have the midi channels set up from the 'attributes' menu as well as having Internal Midi set as my midi inpu...

Re: KoDream Improv - usage guidelines anywhere?
Ok, but this last table is different from what IXix wrote: Do they match? Yes. note value = note + (octave * 16) C = 1, C# = 2 [...etc] Therefore C-4 = 1 +(4*16) = 65 C-0 = 1 + (0*16) = 1 Just for the record, what Buzz calls a C4, MIDI says is C3, etc. I made a chart a few years ago when I was heav...

Re: KoDream Improv - usage guidelines anywhere?
If you're struggling to get it to work, it's probably because it's broken. hm, I dunno, it seems to work fine by me, with latest Buzz build. Maybe I can't detect the flaw because I'm still learning the way it reacts to my grammars, but thanks for the alert. Still working fine here, too. next thing ...

Re: Ableton style Clip Launcher [WANT!]
this is a classical 'i want to use buzz but it should be like ableton'-thread. try livejumphack - it does pretty much what you're asking for, but not by launching individual patterns but jumping to places in bmx where the desired pattern combination is. If i'd want it to be Ableton i'd use Ableton....

Re: Minimal Techno Production Techniques
Technique Nr 2: Uses Samplegrids multiout to route random samples to peeradsr-controlled ch.amps - much nicer envelope than just cutting the samples, sounds smoother. plus, random level can be applied to each sgridout/ch.amp - makes a track extremely lively. Nice, and just a quick plug for IX's wor...

Re: Sequencing a MIDI synth
polac waveout device required? is that what i'm missing here? i'd assume that anything i'd need would have been included in the latest version of the loaders. Should have checked earlier -- use Polac ASIO in Prefs -> Wave Output. (And to be absolutely clear, you don't need to use the MIDI send menu).

Re: Sequencing a MIDI synth
the midi send i'm referring to is the one found on the right click menu of the midivst instance of my midi interface. right click>midi send>polac out. since midi out does not have a note column, i did not use its pattern, and the midi notes i've input are in the pattern for the midivst instance of ...

Re: Sequencing a MIDI synth
midi send is set to the out machine. MIDI send from what machine? Did you not use a pattern of the Out machine itself? Anyway, it seems like sending from another PVSTi should work, if things are set up right ... I also found my midi interface in buzz midi out preferences and checked the box there. ...

Re: Sequencing a MIDI synth
I have the latest version - the only "outs" included in the installer are polac out and polac out II, which appear to be audio outs. could you perhaps upload the midi out dll and link to it? that would be awesome :D Polac MIDI Out is there, but you won't see it labeled as such any more. I...

Re: REQ: Support for multiple midi devices at once
That was me - MIDI Out was out of whack for me because I changed my virtual cable setup. Frank pointed me to the fix: Prefs/Global 2 -> Scan Shell.mute wrote:Polac MIDI In and Polac MIDI Out are the solutions for now. Someone mentioned MIDI Out being "broken"
