Not sure what you mean with this. How can I tell?
Do you see the output selector when you connect it?

The "Force stereo output" setting does the trick! Thanks!
I checked the settings before, but I missed that one apparently. #facepalm
Weird though as I don't have that setting enabled. Does force stereo output limit it to a single stereo pair?

What do you mean with "a new instance of SPAN?". I add Polac VST in Buzz, then select SPAN.DLL as the plugin and that's it.
That's what I mean. Don't know why it's not working, sorry. It's a fantastic tool. :(

Re: Mixers/visual audio analysis tools

I can't get this to work. I've set 4 channels like you said, but when I pan from left to right, left seems to be centered, and when it goes right it mutes. Not sure why. Did you try with a new instance of SPAN? It seems that PVST saves the channel mapping for individual instances so if you change t...

Re: Mixers/visual audio analysis tools

SPAN seems to mess with stereo though. When I try to pan things left or right, it doesn't work if the SPAN is in between the machine and the master. Odd things is, when I turn the sound all the way to the left, I don't hear anything anymore. Yeah, I forgot about that but I did have to fiddle with t...

Re: Mixers/visual audio analysis tools

how do I get VST's working in Buzz again? I remember getting that to work on another laptop once, but I haven't set it up yet on this one. Just install it and Polac VST loader should see it. You might need to tell it where to look for VSTs if you install to a custom location, in which case you'd ju...

Thanks for having a look :D
No problem, thanks for pointing it out. It's fixed in the next release but I can't let it out until I catch a tricky bug and update the docs so it'll probably be a couple of weeks. If you're desperate (and brave) you can be a beta tester. :D

Re: IX Magic 1.15d - January 21st, 2021

Yeah, I can see why that might be a bit annoying. It's sort of a known issue but I never really expected it to be that much of a problem as I rarely get into scrollbar territory. I'll get around to it soon.

Love the screenshots!

Re: new pvst beta (updated 27-Dec-2020)

What I would like is to be able to select a particular track via the Peer Control command in Magic You should be able to just use percent values to select the right track. Might need a bit of experimentation to find the right values but it should work fine. I don't have that VST to test but I can't...

I've found both a 32bit & a 64bit version of msvcr80.dll. Which do I need if I running 32Bit Buzz in 64Bit Windows 10?
I think you'd only need the 32bit version but I could be wrong. The 32/64 thing is a major pain in the backside. I'm dreading the eventual swap from 64 to 128!

Re: More machines?!

When you click the download button, the downloaded machines are stored in "<My Documents>\Buzz\MDB\"

I just tried it (used 32bit Buzz) and it worked correctly. Don't know why the download button should have disappeared, perhaps your theme doesn't implement it?

Re: PeerLFO - Updated 7th June 2018

Phase 0% should be the same as 100% unless I'm very much mistaken. Glitches will happen whenever you set manual phase to anything while playback is happening. You can use inertia to smooth the transitions. Setting the phase at the top of the track is a good idea if you want repeatable results but yo...

Maybe someone who has this issue could try to debug it.
I'm extremely busy breaking Magic again but if this problem persists when I come out the other side, I'll definitely have a crack at debugging.
