Re: Chine Sine Contest

'Chine' apart ;) plain Sine Contest rules look promising. I get down to choping, hacking, crushing, squeezing, squashing, crumpling, wringing, sweeping, stretching, shrinking, scattering, battering and whatever this pure sine sample.

Re: What about a new Contest ?

For me one second 440 Hz sine strictness is very inspirational - less means more challenge.
http://heliso.tripod.com/download/generator/dsg.htm - good one source for many interpretations.
Probably it will be the January contest, as far as time limit goes.

Re: What about a new Contest ?

As far as "intensify" is concerned my fundamental ideas are:
• the duration limited to 4 minutes like 4 phases of sine period
• start and end pure sample
• besides all sine aberrations permitted
People, sine needs you!

Currently my favourite machines will be WhiteNoise's Noiz, WhiteNoise's Oscillator, KozalussNoizza, BTDSys Pulsar, JRMRINGO and BTDSys Peer LFO.
Total szurum-burum.

A good piece of 80's electronic melancholy.

Re: Project Obscura

It isn't a terrain of my interest, but it seems it is faithful imitation of such a music language. Very vitty. My own intuition is that it is rather klezmer music influence than gypsy music.
