Keyboard behaviour request.
This may have been discussed on here before, but wouldn't it be nice if ctrl and ctrl+shift moved you across (and back across) the tracks in the sequencer, in the same way they do in the pattern editor?

peerctl and new Win7 install
I install Win7 on a new box yesterday and have everything buzz-wise running really well now except that I cannot get to the assignments menu for the peerctl machine which is central to all the tunes I make these days. I remember vividly dealing with this problem in the past, installing different vis...

Re: MT Overpass 0.5
Actually multiple instances doesn't work because on reopen, if you only have track 0 assigned for each of them, they all aquire the binding you set for the one which is loaded first. It could also the binding from the one whose assignment you made first as well. Might test this in a bit.

Re: MT Overpass 0.5
I've been playing with 0.5 a bit today and although I can save the machine binding (qsamo in this case) for the first track, and have it there when I reopen it, all the other bindings get dropped. I have a peerctrl assignment set for each track, which does work for all of them on reopening, but I do...
Re: 64-bit
Thought for a moment there that I'd fallen foul of the old missing msc*.dll trap, and not for the first time , but it looks like they are all there. Is the polac bridge included in the polac pvst package, does it install in the x_64 buzz setup or else is it available somewhere separately? As you say...

Re: MT Overpass 0.4
Hmm, now I'm getting this when loading the tune I've used overpass in.
00:03 [Engine] 'Overpass' (MT Overpass) crashed in Init() (unknown exception)
It's the same now if I try to load a new instance of the machine. Happy to send more information if you tell me what to look for.

Managed machines
Does anyone have five minutes to explain the move towards managed machines for me? I'm just curious. Does it make it is easier to build certain functionality? Does it mean more stability or better performance? Does it have any bearing on whether or not it's straightforward to compile as x64? Is it s...
64-bit
I installed BuzzSetup_x64_1440 today as a clean install and then installed the latest polac package pvst64_v1.1.10b17 as well. It all works fine so I started to copy some machines in from my main install. Only certain groups to start with. Btdsys stuff which I know doesn't work generally, then a few...

Re: MT Overpass 0.4
Works great for me, thanks a bunch mantratronic. Means I can now fullly eliminate cpu load from synths which are playing but not in the mix. Tried to do this with mooter a couple of times over the years but always had problems with it.

Re: Can anyone explain what's going on here to me?
Generally the qsamos are using ~10% of cpu. I can take a longish loop, play it for a while without making any changes to anything and see this periodically creep up to 20 or 25 %. At this point sound starts to deteriorate. What I don't understand is how a set of patterns can cause a certain amount o...

Re: Can anyone explain what's going on here to me?
I've tried playing with asio and wasapi drivers but still get the best performance out of these polac kernel streaming drivers. Never understood why though. I would have thought wasapi would be the best right now.

Can anyone explain what's going on here to me?
I have some tunes with six qsamos on one side and a bass one on the other side. I can play these for hours at a time sometimes without a problem then other times I will play for a little while and suddenly the qsamos are all using high percentages of cpu and sound has broken down to noise. Muting al...
Re: mixIO 1.0
It would be very useful if the machineview aspect of this mixer could reflect the state of the mute parameter (and potentially solo) for each of the input channels you have set up. Is it possible/straightforward to change the background colour of the multi-in/out connector on a machine based on the ...
Re: mixIO 1.0
UNZ, are you planning on rolling out a 64bit version of this machine anytime soon? I love it by the way, respect. It's allowed me to really prune down the number of effects and connections in my stock template.

Re: arpeggiator
I haven't had this machine working yet, in 1410 or 1411. I don't think I'm doing anything really stupid. Anyone else missing out at the moment?
