Re: Fade automation / strange signal processing

Thanks a lot guys! Yeah I think some ADSR-ish way via inertia/attack setting seems to be really handy. :)

Fade automation / strange signal processing

Hi, I'm wondering what approaches you are using to automate fading in/out of machines/tracks. Do you put a gain controller in between and control it via some peer controll, or do you simply use DedaCode's or Ninereeds Autofade machines? Or anthing completely different? I'm asking because I've used N...

Re: BTDSys PeerScream still working

Turns out it wouldn't work on my laptop either, running Windows 7 64Bit as well there, made a fresh install of buzz with only the minimum machines, downloaded PeerScream and assigned it to Qsamo's cutoff - nothing happening. Really makes me wondering if the problem really is actually me. Got...

Re: BTDSys PeerScream still working

Thanks guys! Hm... it just works here like that. Sorry, no idea what's wrong on your side. ;) Does it work with other parameters, controlling Infector Cutoff or something like that? Just tried that, no luck either, really weird. ;) Gonna try out a few more things and post the result when I solved it...

Re: BTDSys PeerScream still working

Hi, thanks! Anyway ... it's kind of obsolete because you can draw with PatternXP alone!! Hm well, I'm using new Buzz, but CTRL+G in Pattern XP is awful for really long patterns and I like the width of the columns in PeerScream. Maybe it will become more handy again with chahur's pattern xp mod. I wo...

BTDSys PeerScream still working

Hi everyone, I've tried to get PeerScream running in Buzz 1.2 but when I assign it to let's say the master volume it wouldn't do anything, or maybe there's something I'm missing. Does it work for you guys?

edit: i'm using this version http://btdsys.lazytrap.com/remository?f ... info&id=39

Re: Saving that Speed setting

Thanks Evelon. Yes, I can imagine most users only use it to check some certain things while working on a song and less to actually use it as musical feature. I find it quite intriguing and fun to set down the whole arrangement some semitones (in a samplerate sense) with a simple click and many times...

Saving that Speed setting

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anybody else is using that Speed-setting (BPM:, TPB:, Speed: ) as often as I do and would like to see it actually being saved into the BMW/BMX-files? Not sure tho if that would cause some incompatibility issues. Imho the feature itself is amazingly inspiring to play a...

Re: System.Windows Bug

Solved it without a new install. In the Registry under [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Jeskola\Buzz\BuzzGUI] the key "SidebarWidth" was set to 6 which seems to have caused something else to fall into some negative range. I changed the value to 200 and Buzz was starting up again normally. - Seb...

SideBar System.Windows Bug

Hi, I was blending out the right sidebar (with the More Machines section and quick access to all the other machines and templates) in a setup of mine and wasn't able to open up Buzz again once I had it shut. The following errorstack came up, claiming the window-width to be somewhat negative. http://...

Re: New contest : The 500 kb bmw Summer Solstice Contest

Hi guys, really nice idea! :) One question tho: does the used Buzz version (new Buzz/ old Buzz) matter?

Sunny greetings

I'm not too sure, still playing around with it but it seems to adjust the width of the quantization grid to set patterns on off.

Re: Ableton style Clip Launcher [WANT!]

interesting news indeed personally I don't think ableton is the best workaround for live playing, but in Buzz this can eventually grow into some very cool and creative mutation - ISequence: TriggerEvent, PlayingPattern, PlayingPatternPosition Very curious about this ISequence. Is it some future fun...

Re: Windows XP?

At the same time? Installed at the same time but not running both at the same time. I don't know if they're using same areas in the registry for stuff and thereby have some conflicts with each other or something like that. Would be nice to have both to slowly switch from old to new using the same s...

Re: Windows XP?

Hi, does anyone know if it's possible or a good idea to run the new and the old buzz at the same system, let's say XP? Any experiences here? :)
