Polac seems to keep the wrappers up to date (vst3 support was available really quickly after release.)

Hopefully below links are ok for donate links.

Re: Buzz on Linux

Something like WINE might be necessary when everyone goes RISC. Although suppose Microsoft could do a good "rosetta" equivalent.

Re: Buzz on Linux

Not got it as bad as you (showing about half what you have), but there is still a constant for me also. Guess it's pointless if it can't out perform a VM :| ...

Was a bit caught up in the fact it ran for the first time in all these years to be honest.

Buzz on Linux

Thought I should make a new thread for this as it is now usable. Only tried in Manjaro. If you use just Arch, despite your ascension to an all energy being this will probs work also if you want to frequent the mortal realm. Wine tricks installed was using 64bit prefix by default (using 86x buzz as o...

Re: AudioBlock

Hi, just wondering what version of .net is required for AudioBlock. Got Buzz running in Linux with a .net 4.0 install, but unsurprisingly get an error with AudioBlock. looked the error up and some other software had matching errors when .net 4.5 was required. Not expecting to get it to work in Linux...

Re: Buzz on Linux in 2021

Have installed VSTS that work as well as old commercial ones although VST2, I have managed to get free VSTs to work also such as VST3 version of dexed without issue after recent polac update. One thing I noticed was a crash when opening and loading a bmx file sometimes. I've found adding a working m...

Re: Buzz on Linux in 2021

Tried running Buzz in Linux (Manjaro) again this time just using wine tricks. Not done much testing but it seems to be working without the same crashes I had prior. Basically did nothing, just have wine and wine tricks installed was using 64bit prefix by default, open terminal to add .net 4. winetri...

Re: Buzz on Linux in 2020

By no means working, but did manage to get it to open on manjaro using play on linux. I was a bit drunk when I manged to get it to open after a long time of installing different components to the virtual drive (loads of the ms ones, vbrun, vcrun, dotnet45, msxml, corefonts and a bunch of others) sad...

Re: Wanted: All buzz machines

Thanks for the help man. The 'simple gain' I used wasn't on joachim's website (hence I threw myself at the mercy of the forum :P), but I'm pretty sure all the missing ones will be in that old pack if you could link it that would be awesome.

Much appreciated mate!

Re: Wanted: All buzz machines

Found the tune and it works fine. Although this process has made me realise how few of my old tunes still work. So would still greatly appriciate a giant pack, like hamster used to make if anyone has it.

Gonna make a little timewarp vm ideally.
