Re: Pattern XP mod

Updated :
- Dialog to determine the tonality of the pattern.

... experimental !
You need to choose between the major and minor relative tonalities.
May give unpredictable results if pattern is not tonal.

Re: Pattern XP mod

May be a little confusion, but as you instructed on your website: • To use the new one, you need to declare it in the file "Gear\gear.xml" (create the file if it doesn't exist): But isn't the name of that file "gear_defaults.xml" ? This is how it is named in my buzz installation. Not such a big thi...

Chahur has also added 2 params Seq Number and Seq Modulo, seq are Fibonacci, Prime and Padovan. I don't understand. Have I missed something? Did Chahur make a custom version of PeerLFO? I did, but it was to learn how to do it. It may be useful ... Tell me how you want to proceed and I can add my mo...

Re: Pattern XP mod

Hey chahur, so far I used your modded Jeskola Pattern XP which replaces the original one by oskari. Now I tried using original Jeskola Pattern XP and your Jeskola Pattern XP mod side by side. I placed the gear.xml as you told and starting Buzz, it works. I can select between original Jeskola Patter...

Re: Pattern XP mod

The more I use this mod, the more I like it  One small thing though: Would it be possible to add a bit of "whitespace" to the Chord Expert popup? Re: Pattern XP mod

I found a bug in the behavior of the "add / shrink" pattern commands. When you click the "shrink pattern" button it actually increases rows per beat and will let you increase it beyond the limit. You get a blank pattern when you do this. It's my understanding that this command should keep the rows ...

Re: Pattern XP mod

Nice mod :) I found a small inconsistency though: Ctrl+I does exponential interpolation and Ctrl+Shift+I normal interpolation (they're the other way around in the help file). Ctrl+R again does randomization, and Ctrl+Shift+R does humanization, for example (as in the help file). Thanks. About interp...

Re: can't get Chahurs xpmod to work

Nothing else to do ... Maybe something is wrong in the file Gear.xml. It should be : <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <Gear> <Machine Name="Jeskola Pattern XP mod" LoadAtStartup="True"/> </Gear> Better not to edit the file gear_default.xml, it is replaced when you install a new version of buzz.

Re: Pattern XP mod

It's not very difficult to implement whatever you want about key navigation. But what seems difficult is to agree about something. So, if you want me to spend some time on this, it would be nice to work before that on a CLEAR proposal. And yes, I can add a parameter "Keep the good old way keys were ...
