Re: RIP: That piece of music I was working on last night

rename your Generators and Effects folders to something else create new, empty Generators and Effects folders start Buzz load a song that you think you have lost the data for ignore the missing machine warnings Did your patterns, etc. reappear? Sort of. All the patterns are empty. But everything's ...

Re: RIP: That piece of music I was working on last night

It seems something these tracks have in common is Bigyo Parametric EQ.
How do I find out what version I had? And where can I get it back?

Re: Sampler machine idea (could I make it if I learned c#?)

Of course, if somebody wanted polyphony, "Ctrl +" would bring in another one of these three-dot columns. This system is in contrast to for example Sample Grid, which gives each sample its own column, not allowing monophonic playing (great for drums, but not for sample slices). ??? i do not understa...

It looks like I've lost a lot of projects. This is not good. This is not good at all.

Re: The reason why I like trackers

Here are a couple of other works by Stump (scroll down a bit), namely "String Quartet No. 556(b) for Strings In A Minor (Motoring Accident)" and "Love theme from Prelude and the Last Hope in C and C# minor".

RIP: That piece of music I was working on last night [FIXED]

So...last night I was working on a piece of music. It was pretty nice if you ask me. Many layers, so I saved a lot, I'm not stupid. This morning, I went to Buzzmachines and downloaded the latest machine pack. Figured it'd be up to date (it did say 2011), so I clicked "yes to all" on whether to repla...

Sampler machine idea (could I make it if I learned c#?)

I had an idea for a sampler machine, based on some minor (mainly MIDI-based) inconveniences I've experienced with the existing ones, but since I don't know anything about programming, I figured I'd ask here if it's even hypothetically possible first, so I know if it's worth learning. Any tips would ...

Well, forgive me for not keeping up to date on machine releases. Any other cool machines I might have missed?

Re: The reason why I like trackers

I'd like to see the tracker screenshot version of that. Something tells me lots of tracks. Maybe a little something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06yF2WNSiYs That's clearly not the same song. That's a song from the PC game "The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil", called "U.N. Owen was her? (F...

Re: Drums kits : good or bad way ?

.drumkit files were used with PSI Drum II. It hasn't been stable for years. Don't use it. It was a great machine with some excellent retrigger functions and stuff, but it causes Buzz to crash, so don't bother with it, you'll only get frustrated.

Re: What machine for Wavetable

I sometimes use SampleGrid Switch for percussion, if i've got lots of one-shots to manage. I sometimes use WhiteNoise's Drummer (the first one) for longer (mono) samples, since it has four-digit offset, which is pretty good for chopping, and a speed parameter that can tune by percent and also revers...

Re: New Menu and themes

how about you just try the available themes in the menu ? i'll leave it as an excercise in "how to help yourself" instead of telling you which one it is. I just have a bunch of old themes, some of which don't even work anymore. "ilKke - machines (extended)" seems to be the only one that makes any m...

Re: New Menu and themes

Um...what new dark theme? Do I have to uninstall and reinstall or something to see the changes? I'm on build 1461 and I don't see "dark" anywhere in the theme menu. Feeling a bit left out, in that my Buzz looks pretty much the same as ever. No crazy colors in the sequencer, no rows per beat, and no ...

Re: wavetable editor question

I have a different wavetable editor question: "Play selection" - is it possible? I tried hitting the space bar, which obviously didn't do a thing. I tried right-clicking, no play in the menu. Does this function simply not exist? If that's the case, I really hope it will be implemented, 'cause it wou...
