Re: Buzz 1503 on WIN7 Pro 64 not starting at all

Have you tried to install it with admin rights (right mouse click).Did you install it in program files ( for 32 bit x86)?

Re: Recommended soundcards?

@ onecircles. The Microphone and the line input of the AG03 are very good, there isn't any pre-amp noise.Compared to my RME AIO combined with a Sound Devices 302 which i already own a long time it has a better noise ratio too.In that case the direct pre-amp to usb helps a lot. The phantom power doesn...

Re: How to control Buzz with MIDIcontroller? (Novation noctu

The Nocturn Midi-in/out is always called Automap, with or without autowrap. Regarding the buttons see polac preferences for a plethora of options. Don't autowrap your plugins, the Nocturn is a discontinued product. Just use, send out Midi CC's to your plugins (i remember this was confusing to figure ou...

Re: Recommended soundcards?

You could search for used Steinberg,Roland, or Focusrite interfaces on Ebay. Those Interfaces are very popular.Take care that the drivers are working for your OS. Imo,why don't you use the motherboard inbuilt soundcard for a while until you get the funds for a better interface? I guess the problem re...

Re: Recommended soundcards?

I think a new cheaper Interface is probably preferable to a good older interface which would cost you almost the same (around 100).
The sound quality is really good with those new cheapos.Features, noise ratio and driver reliability are always the first thing i would look for though.

Re: Recommended soundcards?

I've got me a Yamaha AG03 for my small rig, cheap as chips (edit: but very solid quality!), i love it.
Very good drivers for Windows 10 and goodness (because Yamaha also do Steini drivers), noise-free performance.

Re: Memory problems

This sounds odd though.
On my machines Windows never used more than 1.5 GB RAM (16 GB total amount) idle even with search enabled and Defender should be automatically managed by the third party Anti-Virus software.

Re: Windows 10

I have to install Buzz (x64) with a right click choosing the administrator rights otherwise the installation didn't work. My VST folder is now in Username-Documents,btw,this is a suggestion from u-he, related to possible problems with extra data folders of some VST's. I also experienced some weird C...

Re: buzz intro

Just a spontaneous sentence.

Jeskola Buzz or just "Buzz" is a virtual Audio Workstation which can be used very easy up to very complicated.
I can load common VST plugins in either 32 or 64 bit format or it is possible to create own plugins which are called "machines".

Re: new pvst beta (updated 25-Dec-2014)

Don't mess around with bit depth, you don't want to sound lo-fi like those old trackers from the 80's? Just kidding, try to use a plugin and reduce the bit depth and then you know what i mean :-) Buzz bit depth is just fine, what you can change however is the khz (Kilohertz) range to more than 44 khz. ...

Re: hard disk record produces broken wav file.

I don't have any issues you mentioned and never had.
Could you give some specs like soundcard, graphics card, cpu?

It sounds like a driver issue, maybe energy options did you try to render using different drivers, wasapi, polac asio?

Re: Win7 or Win8? X64 or X86 on Buzz and OS?

64 bit is working fine but since almost all Buzzmachines are written for 32 bit they need to be bridged and therefore they introduce some unnecessary cpu cycles and maybe some stability issues in the 64 environment.
