Re: Portability

what about modifying a 10" or smaller laptop? would probably give you the best solution to the battery problem, ports.

Re: annoying digital clicks in recordings?

Are you having the same problem if you set your driver to silent? If yes, your disk would be next thing (assuming your CPU usage isn't the problem either)

Re: Midi Problems : Akai MPD 26 in Buzz

I have an mpd32. Good stuff. I use VSTs for the pads though (phatmatik pro and battery for sample playback).

Re: gamepad as midi controller?

There's this: http://buzz.robotplanet.dk/machineinfo.php?id=7816

Haven't used it, though, not sure if it lets you use push buttons. If not, you can also get a third party piece of software, like Glovepie, then use midi yoke to route midi to buzz.

Re: multiple midi controller profiles

:) You're welcome. I'll take another look in a few days for this:
could not see the entries in the name field of the controller in your application after rebooting my pc
And maybe add presets.

Try this one: http://alvk.net/punks/BuzzKnob.zip
Let me know if it works.

P.S. I haven't checked for issues on a win32 registry, I don't know anymore if there'd be any problems. I'll post the code if anyone wants it.

Re: multiple midi controller profiles

Saves some time editing and naming them. That's why I made this little utility. This: http://alvk.net/punks/buzzknobwindow.jpg Gives you this : http://alvk.net/punks/buzzmidiwritten.jpg It deletes or writes directly to registry, so Buzz needs to be restarted after deleting or writing controllers.

Re: multiple midi controller profiles

buzz assumes that all of the most recent knob/slider assignments are still valid Do you mean in a bmx? Or in buzz preferences? I'm not sure I'm understanding your setup all the way, but the controllers should be programmed so there's no overlap in CC numbers. Easy way to do it is put one of them on...

When exactly is the deadline, and what time zone? My plan was to submit sometime on the 31st.
I also said screw you to the "One sine, one slot," because it was not written that way in the rules.

Re: USB MIDI question

Midi-OX/Yoke does work, I use it on win 7. Also loopMIDI works (http://www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/loopmidi.html). Don't remeber if I tried loopBe, but pretty sure it works also (http://www.nerds.de/en/loopbe1.html). You can also use a Polac Midi In machine, but with a midi loop you get to defin...

Re: Buzz workflow: tips and tricks

- a startup bmx on your desktop while double-clicked opens buzz the way you would like to see it. (with the machines you usualy prefer) Good tip, having a start up bmx is very useful, saves a lot of time. Having midi devices, peer machines and mixers set up is my first project whenever there's a bi...

Re: Can't find Mono DLL, how can I fix this or remove it?

Check your Gear folders for all the .dll files that have (stereo) in the name, delete them. Edit: also look for Lee Dragon's Mono To Stereo Wrapper.dll in your Buzz folder, delete it if it's there. Not sure anymore if you get the error without that, actually. Anyways, the wrapper isn't necessary any...

Re: 6 machines you use the most

I believe this is why I see so many Buzz songs with about fifty effects in them, trying to make the Buzz generators sound better. You're right in a way but wrong in the same time. Right because I think that adding zillions of Fx after a generator kills the sounds. As I wroted somewhere, any added F...
