Re: Build 1482+

At the moment you can press the << button next to the layers once a sample has been selected in the file browser. Layers are still being implemented, and most machines don't use them.

Re: Post 1482 wavetable discussion

The buttons between the wave editor and the layers pane don't do anything yet, is that right? Yes, we'll make them functional as we go. Most editors assume that if there's no selection then you want to process the whole file. Could we get that? It might be better to wait for undo/redo to be impleme...

Re: Post 1482 wavetable discussion

For Build 1483 bugs fixed: 0.5 sample bug in WaveformElement (keyboard) wrong layer selected after edit command related to wrong-layer-after-edit-command: selected index of the datagrid still needs to be set! its still possible to end up in a situation where the layerGrid has no selected element, st...

Re: Brilliant work, guys!!

A few suggestions: * The black area in the envelope editor should represent the entire length of the sample, so that the left edge is "sample beginning" and the right edge is "sample end". * When replacing a sample with a new .wav file, the envelope should stay. * Show both left...

Re: Teething Problems

The GUI uses acceleration, but I'm surprised it turned the fan on.. Buzz becomes quite slow without the hardware acceleration, but you can switch it in options if you'd like to try.

Post 1482 wavetable discussion

Ok, so we fixed a bunch of bugs and normalized a lot of the code underneath, which means its time to go on to new bugs and features. Feel free to ask for things I've missed. HIGH PRIORITY Refactor Code to remove WaveformVM.cs entirely, according to discussion with oskari (see personal notes) Bugs sn...

Re: wavetable stuff

When you say "layer" you're talking about the multi-sample layering business at lower left? Does that actually work? Any time I've tried adding layers in there I only end up hearing one of the samples. yes that's the layers. i don't know if any machine uses them but it is possible iirc. w...

Re: polac driven buzzmachine

well if you use IX split you can use the same midi input to drive both generators. if you mean one buzz generator machine sending midi signals to another buzz generator machine, i dont think thats possible. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12332475/ix%20split%20unison.xml is what i'm talking about

Re: polac driven buzzmachine

use peer machines to put slight variation on velocity, panning etc on the normal buzz generators. to get two generators stuck together, use Ix split to drive both from one note.

Re: qsamo combine question

Afaik 'and', 'xor', and 'or' are the bitwise operators. so it's doing a very basic digital operation, ie checking that both of the inputs have a '1' in the bits of the data to give a '1' as output. I think that 'mul' is the rather obvious multiply both inputs... That and the three above can be found...

Those messages are normal, and they have to do with the GUI, so shouldn't effect Massive or any VSTs.

Re: Cheapo Do-Nothing crashes Buzz

I use mixio all the time instead of do nothings now. It's almost as fast as nada with the gui closed, has a visualizer, panning, and if i want to do any routings later it has multi I/O as well.

Re: Cheapo Do-Nothing crashes Buzz

just remove the cheapo do nothing.dll from your gear folder, new buzz will show a missing machine, but it will be fine. (the missing machine acts just like a do nothing...)
