Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually
Just an other minor issue. There is still a little inconsistency between AudioBlock and BUZZ new sequencer (I like it , too :D ). Maybe its a problem of the accessability (API), I don't know. The colours and patterns of the new sequener view differ after deleting pattern and adding pattern via Audio...

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually
I have been a quite downloader until now, I just thought about Audio Block as one big tracker in Buzz and so I'd like to ask if there is the possibility to make the waveforms or final waveforms shine through in the new Pattern Editor or Sequence Editor of Buzz? I don't know if this aim is reachable...

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually
Hi wde, thanx for new version, -I post a pic. What I have done: loaded a wavefile via drag and drop into Audio00, had a look at the audio view (sliders), then I loaded the same wave via drop down menu to Audio01, then new pattern. -In addition: Initially the audio view is still a bit shorter than th...

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually
Version 0.9.3 a.k.a "Let's start to crush bugs before 1.0" yeah. Let's start catching bugs! (actually stable) minor issues: - the play position disappears when halted (awesome feature!) - in high zoom playing position "jumps" a bit. Dont know if it can be smoothed. - here (16:9 ...

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually
cool colour option, I agree with candle. it would be nice to have the same default colours in patterns of the sequence view and wave view. Special thanx for the "insane" time stamp accuracy  Fantasies for next major version  : - moving playing position bar in waveforms -...

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually
great. Approaching to 1.0! sorry for my changing wishlists ;) If there is enough space, can you trie to have a more fine grained time scale in audio view 000:000 please ? The time windows of the audio view is in a constant % of the the zoom factor? Perhaps it would be more convenient if the slider b...

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually
hey thanx for new version. No bug found yet.
perhaps an automatic zooming timeline for the audioview would be helpful?
I am still thinking about that lack of buzz, that only tick/blocks are displayed. So perhaps a transformation into ticks (kind of double scale) would be helpful in some cases?

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually
The core problem this machine is trying to solve is "how to add long audio files as part of you song project and make it convenient" and I think I'm pretty close to fix this. I totally agree :D cool horizontal view and zoom! minor issues: - waveform view does appear only when audioview ha...

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually
Forgot to mention that right click will reset gain. very important feature, I miss in buzz. great wave graphic. I am used to the new sequence editor, that's why I would personally prefer horizontal aspect of the waveforms. IMHO. Do you plan a zoom and visual precise alignment (according to the orig...

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually
great, thanx, initial naming is healed! Tried the negative offset, dotted line is nice! :D The sample is then cut at the end of the pattern. I have prolonged the pattern and everything is OK. You have a bunch of plans for pattern/sequence for V2.0 (amazing!) , so don't know if it would be on your li...

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually
hey! one step further
I almost can see the line marking the offset in the waveform, how about that?
here is a short video of drag and drop into freshly started Buzz. Is that the same behaviour at your BUZZ?

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually
Hey, tried audioblock with 2 songs containing longer vocal tracks. I have to say that it works very well, no timing, phase or gain issues :) But I must admit, that I miss a bit the opportunity for longer offsets like in matilde to realize e.g. refrains without cutting the sample in an external edito...

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually
cant use more than Audioblock0 pattern in drop down menu, no Audioblock1 or higher possible. I had to make a new pattern via regular pattern editor (named 00 ! ), then same issue no2 above. Dont know if that is related to your problem. Works using regular PatternXP. Might be related to something el...

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually
great. New version is working good! :) Tried 2 tracks playing with same and different samples in parallel. two minor issues found: - numbers smaller than 1 are rejected in direct offset input - If you have a sample in wavetable and load an new instance of audioblock: set the sample via drop down men...

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually
new version works fine here. For that I recommend EasyRec . The idea is to use Buzz Wavetable as the wave depository and EasyRec works fine for that use case. ah, yep. Didn't know EasyRec !!. Its not at robotplanet.dk. Great, should also be a standard machine for buzz (as audioblock ;) ) Works fine ...
