I am interested if anyone uses a sampler such as Short Circuit - inside buzz?
What is the advantage in using this over a tracker such as Unwieldy Tracker...?

Re: Rendering with tracks muted
Thanks
The wav files turned out fine. It's just that I'm building a live set....and I'm not looking to spending double the time to render each individual part.
I will double check that I'm not using the solo function...not 100% sure tbh....nice tip I will double check..

Rendering with tracks muted
Does anyone else have problems when using hard disk recorder to render (or record) one track at a time (by muting all tracks except the one to render)? I find that it moves at a snail pace and when in record mode stutters like crazy. Does anyone else experience this problem? Any ideas for a solution...

My good friend also told me with smile that he is refusing to come to another gig until I get a DAW that doesn't crash.

Re: Fswitch (or peerstate) live functionality in Reaper?
Thanks for the tips. I use a very limited number of buzzmachines (e.g. chorpse, funkyverb, oppressor, unwieldy delay, utracker2, fswitch, flasbox, rIDMa and a few that I can't remember) and a bunch of freeware VSTs and VSTis. I don't use any blacklisted buzz stuff. tbh in 90% of live gigs I have had...

Fswitch (or peerstate) live functionality in Reaper?
So I used buzz live again last night and it crashed about six times leaving loads of dead air....eek Each time I have played live I have had a minor crash (except for last night where it was MAJOR - crazy)....so I have decided to switch to a different host when performing (I will still produce using...

Tom fills - (reminiscent of 80s)
Hey I'm wanting to work on my drum fill programming. I particularly love those drum fills that immediately evoke the 80s. I'm thinking human league - and also contemporary artists like M83 - midnight city, com truise etc 1. I need to work on my programming so they don't sound so robotic. I was wonde...

Using Jeskola Buzz/ syncing with live band
I am interested in how people have used Buzz with a live band.
Particularly syncing buzz drum patterns with live instruments.
I am interested in the implications for Jeskola Live but am not sure if there is a way to tap in/ set tempo to band etc yet....
Anyone got any tips for syncing or tap tempo?

Unassigning midi controls to vsts
I have an m audio axiom 64 midi controller.
I have noticed that many of the knobs have been automatically assigned to midi controls...particularly with elektro studio VSTs...
Is there a way of removing these assignments in a simple way?

Re: Help wit Samplegrid BTDSys
Sorry, Just to clarify. Have you used a tracker before? If not I would recommend using unwieldy tracker or matilde tracker. http://www.buzzmachines.com/machineinfo.php?id=1058
TBH - the main strengths of Samplegrid have been added to unwieldy tracker2 .

Re: New Themes
Thanks guys. I have previously looked at buzzmachines' themes list... but the last bunch of entries are spam. Also I'm aware that there were a bunch of themes around that weren't on buzzmachines (e.g. there was a Mario theme at one point). I used to use a theme that had flat colours - blue/ black wi...

Re: Buzz in DJ set ?
Honestly download:
Virtual DJ Pro Free or Mixxx
They are much much better for DJing....
Buzz is great for creating, arranging sequencing and even performing your tracks lve...but it isn't really designed for DJing....
