Breakcore Track and Crazy Dice Game (Free)
I released a breakcore/IDM track called 'Squid Neuromesh' and a corresponding 'print and play' dice game. The track was made in Jeskola buzz with machines like Flaser Box, Whitenoise Stereo distortion, Unwieldy Delay, Unwieldy Tracker II, Tuna, Funkyverb, Firesledge Param. EQ and loads of free VSTis...

Ambient EP and Magic Eye Booklet
I am part of an ambient duo called YEARNS. We have just released an EP of hazy ambient tracks with a corresponding stereogram booklet (remember magic eye puzzles?). 90% of my parts were made using Buzz (with a load of free VSTs). The other member used circuit bent Casio SKs for his parts. https://ye...

Re: A working XY Pad/ morphing between 4 sources
For some reason, Peer Control is the one Peer machine that is no longer working. When I right-click on Assignment settings nothing comes up. I may need to reinstall buzz and try this out. Do you have any other thoughts or ideas?

A working XY Pad/ morphing between 4 sources
I was wondering if there is a working XY pad Alternatively, are there any Buzz synths that can slowly morph between four different sources/wave types? I found a really old 32 bit vsti called Quillcom Blender that does this but I'd love to have more flexibility etc. I like the idea of having at least...

Dreamy electronica and Text Adventure
I released a glitchy, dreamy electronica EP (free) and text adventure game (like vintage games on Commodore 64). The EP was made using Buzz. On the ‘Diverge and Coalesce’ EP, Grids/Units/Planes dive deeply into 90s IDM influences with hazy hints of shoegaze and post rock. Ornaments of audio beauty g...

No new members will impact future of buzz
I really love buzz. I have noticed (unless I am mistaken) that new users can't sign up to this forum. I assume this was because of spam. I am concerned that not allowing new members to join will reduce the number of new people using and thriving with buzz. And this will ultimately impact future deve...

Major problem with Hard Disk Recorder...help please
My Hard Disk recorder suddenly went really buggy.
It seems to be locked into F:/ (which doesn't exist) as the save location and it spits out an error each time.
Does anyone have thoughts about fixing this.

Re: Purchase advice: cheap MIDI controller that works with B
I have an M Audio Oxygen 49 Key Midi Keyboard.
For me it was the cheapest keyboard with a bunch of knobs and sliders in a decent brand.
Worked well but I would personally caution against using Buzz live though. Nothing to do with the midi controller but just too many crashes.

Re: Old Alps - (Drone/Ambient music made with Buzz) FREE EP
Sorry, when I said made exclusively with Buz, I meant inside Buzz, e.g. not with any other DAW. I did use loads of freeware vsts. Cheers for the kind words though.

Re: Buzz in Live Situations
I used to use Buzz live - but it crashed so much that I have stopped using live (but I still compose with it) I had one VST running through my M Audio Keyboard. I would often play the bassline live. I had thebeats routed through a bunch of FX ( e.g. flasbox, bitcrusher, sonicverb, unwieldy delay, rI...

Organic Evolving pads
I would love to hear how you use buzz to create atmospheric ambient pads and drones with lots of evolving textures. I'm not interested in pure synth sounds or weird sound FX VSTi's (I find some VSTi's too digital spacey sounding) Stuff like Tim Hecker or Helios. I really love using Chimera VSTI with...

Re: how to trigger samples in live situation
You used to be able to do it with one of the versions of Samplegrid - I remember it working well but requiring a fair bit of tweaking to get it initially set up. You used to be able to assign different samples to all of the keys on your qwerty keyboard.
