Most likely you need to register "envelope.ocx". The old buzz fixkit used to let you do it but I'm not sure whether that still works. Marc had to do the same thing recently and he did it from the command prompt... "I had to run, as administrator, the command line regsvr32.exe envelope...

Parameter smoothing means you can watch you parameters slowly switch to new values over several days (or less if that's your thing).

I've had the thing where menus flicker into view and disappear. I found that if I remove the plugin and put in a fresh instance it seems to behave itself, which is a bit of a pain but PVST copy/paste preset works a treat.

I have four HierarchicalDataTemplates which are almost but not quite the same. The main difference is the classes they represent and then the last one for CPropertyStateVM has an additional text block in the content presenter. The context menus are the same, the content providers are mostly the same...
