Re: Getting line-in to work with Buzz
You should have one of these dots, and then right click on it to give you options. The circle with the number in it, not the triangle Weird: https://i.imgur.com/cWQPdQY.png (this is the Audio In machine, just dynamically renamed because Polac is a wizard) Anyway, I "solved" (sidestepped) ...

Re: Polac ASIO midi select?
It doesn't detect mine either - my workaround is to use LoopMIDI and MIDI-OX. LoopMIDI port is routed to my external gear in MIDI-OX, select LoopMIDI port in the Polac VST "magic MIDI menu" and everything's good to go. Note that you'll need to use Polac Audio In to actually get the sound f...

Re: Getting line-in to work with Buzz
Did you try to change the channel on the asio input machine(click the "dot" on the connection). If by the "dot" you mean the triangle, clicking it just gives me the standard mini-mixer screen. I'm also experiencing a lot of instability with ASIO, which might be better in a separ...

Getting line-in to work with Buzz
Hello! Trying to record an external synth, using Buzz as a sequencer. Windows 7 64-bit. The synth is connected to line-in on my computer, and when I send it notes via Polac loader, I can hear it working (because I have "listen to this device" selected in the Windows sound control panel). H...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 29-Apr-2018)
Just installed the latest beta and now I can't select any of the Polac outputs (ASIO, etc) from Preferences. I'm sure it's something stupid I'm overlooking. By "install" I mean I extracted the zips in the \Buzz\ directory so they overwrote the old machines. Luckily, for once in my life I t...

Re: Vocals in buzz
Really looking forward to an AudioTrack how-to, seems like it could be very useful! Right now my way of doing vocals is about as lo-fi as it gets: Record vocals, split verses / stanzas (depending on length) into individual .WAV/.MP3 files, load into wavetable, use Matidle Tracker 2 to trigger. Upsid...

Re: SnowMachines combined thread
Hoping that quest for gumption is making progress, Snowglobe - your suite is still appreciated! Came across a glitch/bug and was wondering if anyone could brainstorm a workaround. Take the following ruleset: https://i.imgur.com/q6o1gQ0.png In theory, this should prove to be a "human arpeggiator...

Assigning start/stop controls to MIDI?
Hello! Apologies if this has been asked and answered before - did some searching but couldn't pull up this particular question. Is it possible to assign the "play/stop/record/loop" buttons which are common on keyboard controllers these days to the relevant Buzz commands? I know I could use...

Re: Request for midi export/import
Hope it's not a faux pas to bump this five year old ( :o ) thread, but it's the top Google result for "jeskola buzz midi import" so I figured it was the best place for future people who might have the same question as me. When I import one particular .MID file using Per's excellently-detai...

Re: Any way to inverse the output of PeerLFO?
Thanks for the pointers! You're welcome. I hope you can get the result you want. :) So just to make sure I'm not overlooking anything, Accumulator cannot send a (pseudo-)continuous value stream, correct? The maximum resolution is once-per-tick? So, for instance, something like a filter sweep would ...

Re: Any way to inverse the output of PeerLFO?
Thanks for the pointers! I'm probably missing something obvious, but when I try to open the templates I just get an "invalid file" message. They're saved in \gear\Templates\, and I've tried both leaving them as .zips in that folder and extracting the .xmls within. EDIT: Nevermind. Looks li...

Any way to inverse the output of PeerLFO?
I'm using a PeerLFO with the "Wander" waveshape to add a little bit of liveliness to a song. Is there any way to get an inverse version of the output, so I have, for instance, two filters whose cutoffs are in constant opposition, or two machines wandering across the stereo field, but alway...

In case it helps, here's what Dependency Walker has to say:
(everything below ishims.dll in the Module pane is okay - just "x64" instead of "x86")

PeerCtrl crashing Buzz, any ideas?
PeerCtrl is reliably crashing Buzz. It's impossible to cause a crash "on demand" - which makes this immensely frustrating to report, because I like to at least have some tangible reproduction process when reporting a bug. But, basically, once I drop a PeerCtrl machine, Buzz will eventually...

Re: What's your favourite reverbs and why?
My "fire-and-forget" reverb is HD HALVerb - plunk it in the chain and forget it, it adds a modicum of that 1980s gloss. Honestly don't have the patience to wrap my head fully around all its various parameters, but the default usually works fine for me. Funkyverb, for me, either works or it...

Re: How to play notes with PC keyboard.
You can keyboard-jam in Pattern view, too, as long as "Play notes" is checked. Only problem there is that you have to use the "1" key to manually trigger note-off. Still, it can be useful for quickly sketching out melodies or mindless jam sessions

Re: Polac VST window is off-screen and unclickable - any fix
Solved. Here's the solution, for any Googlers of the future:
Double-click the affected machine.
Alt-space, Move, use arrow keys as needed.
The default Polac window hides the upper-left box that one would normally click, but alt-space is Windows native.

Polac VST window is off-screen and unclickable - any fix?
Through a combination of mouse-spazzery and sheer ingenuity, I managed to drag a VST window (the actual GUI) off-screen and double-click it (which minimizes the window) in nearly the same motion. Now when I try opening that machine, all I get is a tiny sliver of the border shadow - not enough to act...

Re: SnowMachines combined thread
This machine seems really exciting! Wish the tutorials were easier to find - maybe edit the links into the OP? A few quick questions: 1. Is there a simple way of disabling / enabling all rules across all tabs? I'm trying to learn from the demo BMX, but disabling every rule one-by-one across 16 diffe...
