Re: Extra 'Bleeps n Bloops' when track is stopped
One option I can think of is to stick something like MRecorder (https://www.meldaproduction.com/MRecorder) just before the Master and untick the 'Pause when playback disabled' checkbox so that it continues recording the output irrespective of Buzz's playback state

Re: 64bit migration
YMMV but I personally say don't do it: Stick with the 32bit build and use the PVSTi bridge to use any 64bit VST/i plugins. I tried 64bit Buzz a few months ago and the little amount of machines that actually seemed to work in the 64bit version of Buzz I just immediately went back to Buzz32 I can't re...

Re: Buzz on Linux in 2020
Have you tried Winetricks - https://wiki.winehq.org/Winetricks
Might help with all the WPF stuff that runs the gui (try maybe downloading the 'windowscodecs' and 'dotnet*' packages)

Re: Phew
I had to update phpbb to 3.2 (3.0 wasn't supported anymore by the web host). Hopefully it works now. Had to do the same thing a few weeks ago with similar carnage to my board ! 1982 is fun! Really tempted to keep this one as my theme. Absolutely wild ! (and oddly, actually really clear !) p.s...

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually
Even my automation idea seems like something we probably won't ever see. Didn't see this first time around but man that'd be good ! Definitely a feature of 'conventional' DAWs that I miss having in Buzz - So much so I was nearly tempted to get Renoise the other day as it seemed to be the only track...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 29-Mar-2019)
Thanks for checking man :) If it's not fixable do you think it would be possible to move (or add) the 'disable the embedded gui' setting to being a global option, so it doesn't need to be done with every plugin ? nathansnider lists the following that seem to cause a problem or are fine: Pianoteq Pro...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 29-Mar-2019)
Nice to see the site is back in working order again ! I'm definitely missing Buzz after a few years of Ableton (still not used to the Piano Roll way of composing) ... Polac - Have you identified the issue that might be causing this with some 64bit plugins GUIs using Buzz32: The menus in TAL Sampler'...

Re: WASAPI Shared mode
Are you running Windows (or whatever apps you're running simultaneously) at 48khz too ? Maybe it's freaking out trying to output different sample-rates at the same time if not ?

Re: buzzfixkit and kibibu doof
Yeah Overloader is a definite no-no with the dot net builds of Buzz. Probably the least destructive method of getting it back to working order is to just re-download the latest installer and install it 'over the top' of your existing build. The only thing that you'd want to use fixkit for nowadays i...

Re: New Buzz still crashes over missing machines?
Before I had the proper libraries for SmartElectronix, they also caused a crash on startup. Since those are native Buzz machines, it makes me think the issue is in the Buzz "add machine" routine rather than Polac itself. As far as I can remember SmartElectronix (as in these folks - http:/...

Re: Wanted: All buzz machines
Would anyone be able to aid me on my quest of these very well hidden machines, been on a hunt for them since the old Buzz forum days: Generators ------------ HD MiXampler 9 Zephod Wavetable Streamer Effects -------- Automaton 2-Pole II Kazuya SDrive Ld Gainfollower (aux) Ld Ringmod HD FFTtest 2 HD Q...

Re: Article about Mastering
This is definitely one of the most important tips, not just for Buzz but any DAW (or just recording in general!): 3) Turn the volume sliders on your generators DOWN! My rule of thumb (this doesn't necessarily have to be your rule of thumb) is too turn the master volume down just a smidgen, and I adj...

Re: getting back into buzz
Yeah there really doesn't seem to be any need to run x64 Buzz at the moment (if at all). Even if you have a whole bunch of 64bit VST/i (and are running a 64bit OS), the 32 bit version will load them fine: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1751&start=20#p13666

Re: .dll not found when in folder?
Download the 'latest' fixkit (Buzzfixkit021217.zip) here - http://buzz.kickedbyconsole.net/index.php?dir=%2305%20-%20Utilities/ Under the 'Setup' section place ticks by 'install MFC42.dll' , 'install msvcr70.dll' and 'install msvcr70.dll' Fingers crossed all will then be well in the world ! (Don't t...

Re: Core i7
Yeah that's definitely some heavy lifting (especially the [lovely] PolyKB). I've not looked for a while whether this is turned on by default, but have you checked that all the processors in your machine are being used, and had been set to Time Critical Priority: http://buzzwiki.robotplanet.dk/index....

Re: new pvst beta (updated 29-Mar-2019)
Thanks for the new version Polac ! My guess is scan.exe uses some type of compression packer which antivirus heuristics hate as they're usually a good medium for malicious code to be obfuscated into.
