Re: Themes, where?

Any touchscreen-friendly theme around, with bigger icons/buttons? Is it also possible to make the machine parameters vertical? The labels might take up far more space horizontally, but it feels more natural for me to move the sliders up/down than left/right, which would come in handy when using the ...

Found this text to speech tool, Alter Ego

http://bedroomproducersblog.com/2015/09/08/alter-ego-vocal-synthesizer/ There are demos on that page and the developer one. The autotune-like outcome is obvious, but still sounds good for a free tool. The games preset features lines from Impossible Mission II, Zero Wings and others :ugeek: Currently...

Re: polac metronome

As I was looking if Buzz had a built-in metronome and came across this thread:
If you search for "metronome" on Google, it shows you a tool with adjustable BPM and play button directly above the search hits.

Re: Can't remember how to use Polac VSTi

Thanks, it's working now

I noticed that your page says:
Buzz\vstscan.exe
Buzz\dxscan.exe

But in the archive they are called:
vst.exe
scan.exe

Re: Can't remember how to use Polac VSTi

Yes, that random website happened to be yours. As I only need the VSTi machine, I just used these two files:
Buzz\Gear\Machines.dll
Buzz\Gear\Generators\Polac VSTi 1.1.dll

The VST I'm trying to load is Synth1 1.12:

Can't remember how to use Polac VSTi

I downloaded a x86 version from a random website, copied it into the generators folders. When I now load the machine into Buzz, I can double-click it and load up a DLL, right? After choosing a VST synth, nothing happens though. The window of the synth doesn't pop up. What am I doing wrong?

Buzz still points to Buzzmachines.com for missing machines

Not good :(

People who don't know what happened to Buzzmachines.com will be confused. Can the "Would you like to search..." part be removed in the next version?

His owner, Kim 'Dotcom' Schmitz.

Anyway, only now after the user database has leaked, the admin thought it would be good to close down Buzzmachines

Does this thing work with Buzz? Will I be able to assign some parameters of various machines to this controller and move the faders for some LFO magic?

Bug/error message with harddisk recorder

I once saved a track on an external harddrive (F:) which is now disconnected. Now when I try to save a new track and want to change the folder (for example internal partition D:) by clicking on the "save as" button, an error window pops up telling me that the drive (probably F:) can't be f...

Is buzzmachines.com still active?

The news from 2013 say a new design is coming which is still not here, the message board is full of spam and when I try to sign up I'm shown MySQL errors.

It's a pity as Buzz Machines is one of the few databases (if not the only) for generators and effects.

Re: Buzz not working properly with a Wacom

Now that you asked me about touch/pen mode, I loaded up the preferences. It's set to pen mode, but in the mapping window I noticed a box about the native touch support of Windows to untick.

Now the right-clicking seems to be working.

Buzz not working properly with a Wacom

I have a Wacom Bamboo Special Edition and two problems with it in Buzz: - Right click doesn't work in the machine view, neither on the background nor machines. It works in pattern and sequence view. - When I close Buzz, the mouse cursor freezes for two or three seconds or won't move at all anymore. ...
