Re: new pvst beta (updated 29-Mar-2019)
Just tried using Polac VST to load Cheapo Amp (in order to control it through Polac MIDI In) and when I set the gain to 0, either through MIDI or by click-dragging the slider, I instead get full gain - same with toggling mute on/off (it'll cut the audio for a split-second, but then return to full vo...

Re: Polac VST FX midi in issue?
Hey all, I know I've gotten the midi-in to work with the polac FX adapter before, but I can't seem to get it to work now. Can somebody try the following on their system? Steps to reproduce: - Open any VST generator and push a key on your midi keyboard. Is midi working? Good. - Open any VST effect. ...

Re: Polac VST (not VSTi) not recognizing MIDI
Okay, in what must be a world-record speedy "user takes care of themselves", I've managed to fix this issue. You must add a Polac MIDI In machine, right-click, MIDI send to the Polac VST machine, then right-click again and select the MIDI controller you wish to use. If it's already your MI...

Polac VST (not VSTi) not recognizing MIDI
Is there something non-obvious I need to do to have Polac VST (the effect, not the generator version) recognize MIDI controls? I have no problem getting things to work with VSTi's - but no matter what I load into an effect VST, it does not recognize MIDI input. Even the _FX versions of some softsynt...

Re: How does a 'sustain' pedal work and is it in the buzzive
Hey guys. I'm back at it, buzzing on the daily and closing in on my goal of beginning to perform live in my city with buzz. Anyways I play a classical guitar with delay and distortion, and for certain sections I would like to find some way to increase the sustain of my instrument. The classical gui...

Re: PeerLFO forcing Note Off in VSTi?
just a guess, but could be influenced by multithreading on/off or subticktiming on/off Both of these have been "True"/On. Turning multithreading off seemed to make the problem worse, but that's just a gut reaction after thirty seconds. Definitely no positive effect, at least. Turning subt...

Re: PeerLFO forcing Note Off in VSTi?
Here's an mp3... Are you certain it only happens when PeerLFO is involved? The mp3 sounds more like an audio system problem to me. If you run another sustained sound alongside the Oatmeal, do both sounds cut out or just the Oatmeal? What OS are you using and are you 32 or 64bit? Positive it's just ...

Re: PeerLFO forcing Note Off in VSTi?
Tried your bmx and I'm not getting any dropouts. Everything appears to be working as it should. How long should it take before the problem occurs? Jealous... Here's an mp3, for me it happens within a minute - in this case, only took about 7.5 seconds from a fresh load of Buzz. https://we.tl/t-uhxyv...

Re: PeerLFO forcing Note Off in VSTi?
Doesn't happen here. I tried modulating Synth1 filter cutoff and played notes on the virtual keyboard. Everything is as expected. Please post a bmx that will reproduce the problem. Sorry for the delay, been a bit busy here. Here's a quick BMX I threw together using the Oatmeal VSTi (http://www.groo...

Re: PeerLFO forcing Note Off in VSTi?
I had some more time to mess around with it, and I've found a workaround - if you send PeerLFO to a PeerCtrl, and assign PeerCtrl to the VST control you wish to affect, it works fine. Would still be interested to see what's causing PeerLFO to interrupt the notes, but I suppose it's less than critica...

PeerLFO forcing Note Off in VSTi?
Hello Buzzers! Strange issue I'm having that's hopefully just a matter of a configuration setting. I have a synth loaded in Polac VSTi 1.1, using PeerLFO 1.3. I assign PeerLFO to Param Value, and set the Param accordingly. PeerLFO is definitely manipulating the correct control, I can see it wiggle o...

Was wondering if anyone had "bigyo Compressor" - it's not in any of the big packs, nor on RoboPlanet.

Re: PeerCtrl crashing Buzz, any ideas?
Yeah I didn't think you could go any folders deep in either Gear\Generators or Gear\Effects It's weird, but all I know is that I have a BMX (and a list of things to do once it's loaded) that will crash when accessing save-as 100% of the time if I have my \Gear\Generators\PeerCtrl\ folder, and 0% of...

Re: PeerCtrl crashing Buzz, any ideas?
So, I know this is an ancient thread, but I'd like to provide an update just in case someone stumbles into this thread in the future. I had the proper PeerCtrls, as UNZ suggested. After about a zillion cycles of deleting, reinstalling, reregistering envelope, redownloading various VB redistributable...

Re: Any way of getting WASAPI audio input?
True dat. What audio interface are you using? I use the Behringer UMC204HD - one of the best buys out there, if you can get past the noisy headphone out (I just plug my headphones into one of the rear outputs - lose the hardware volume knob and sacrifice some teeth-rattling loudness, but it's an ac...

Re: Any way of getting WASAPI audio input?
Did you try polac asio? Polac asio drivers are like golden milk of heaven. They really are great, but when the hitching is occuring once the audio's outside Buzz (i.e., somewhere in between Buzz generating a signal and that signal passing through my audio interface into my speakers/headphones), the...

Re: does polac vsti require vst compatible with midi for mid
If If I have polac vsti hosting a vst, and I have a midi device through polac midi in, does the vst have to be compatible with midi in order to use my midi controller to control the vst parameters? I can't figure out how to get the 'son of a pitch' to accept midi. I've never used Polac's ...

Any way of getting WASAPI audio input?
After two months tinkering with ASIO, I'm throwing in the towel - for whatever reason, it just doesn't get along with my setup, and audio in Buzz and elsewhere is full of unpredictable hitches and twitches no matter what settings I tweak, and no matter if I use ASIO4ALL or my hardware interface's na...

Re: multitrack record?
I use Sgorpi's MultiTrack Writer. Here's a basic template I use for a 4-track recording (with the MTWr machines spread out a little bit to make the routing/wiring a little more obvious): https://i.imgur.com/UhV1q4x.png The MTWr machines must be connected to Master in order to function properly - but...
