Re: recommend data recovery software
I use Dropbox with the packrat 30 day revision history. I also keep my songs in versioned revisions. Every time I save it as v2, v3, v4, etc.
Good luck on recovering your files. I would feel lost if my Buzz collection died.

Re: Is anybody using surface pro as a Buzzcomputer?
A touchscreen works with Buzz (I've tried it and you can push buttons and the menu and stuff...), but yeah, not really designed for that so you'll need a keyboard as well.

Re: new pvst beta (updated 29-Mar-2019)
Expected behavior would be to load up with a dummy channel selected or crash the plugin or something instead of the whole song. Any way to make that happen? :D Have you tried to change ASIO latency , I have thousands crashes with my E-MU ASIO drivers sometimes.(Win 7 64bit) I didn´t try latest Pola...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 29-Mar-2019)
So I have sort of a long standing issue to report that is not fixed by the latest version. When I load a song that has Polac ASIO Inputs that go beyond the number of actual ASIO Inputs I have on my sound card, the song crashes. Real world example my Behringer UMC404 has 4 inputs, and my M-Audio Fast...

Phoenix Rising playing EJRR Earthday Birthday in Orlando
The Earthday Birthday festival is in Orlando, and my band Phoenix Rising is going to be playing there. I'll be playing from my tried and true Buzz and keyboard setup.
Pretty huge festival, I'll post some videos hopefully.

IX split workaround for pitch bend and mod wheel for VSTs
So I happened upon a really easy workaround for IX Split to work with pitch bend and Polac VST. Had to share. :ugeek: :D Just requires 2 steps performed on the VST. Step 1: set the VST you want to control with IX Split to the MIDI channel IX Split is on (e.g. if IX Split is on channel 4, set the VST...

Buzz on ReactOS?
https://reactos.org/
The goal of the operating system is something that looks and acts like Windows, that runs Windows programs, but runs on Linux. I assume they use some sort of VM abstraction or something to make this work. I'll have to play with it when I get a chance.

Re: Could someone please tell KiNK the good news...
[All the old and newer songs have opened fine. I had some plugins that no longer load (certain versions of samplegrid mostly, that had a windows 7 compatibility issue). I keep a VM of it on my dropbox for safe keeping. I can always render it out that way if needed. That being said, it actually help...

Seems all good from my side. No issues, bugs, or crashes on any of the distortion models that I could see.

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually
Using the Audio Track plugin, I change the dropdown in song view to 1 and line it up visually. However, that's not something you can really do at the pattern level.

MasterKeyboardMode = True
Hey there buzz-family, I had a question regarding master keyboard mode. I am running into a situation where unless I have MasterKeyboardMode set to "true" it won't play MIDI on certain machines. It seems odd to me since supposedly all it does is forward MIDI Channel 1 to the currently sele...

Re: AMD Rysen worth it
I thought Buzz only populated as many cores available as you have installed in your system. Is that true there is a limit to 12 cores in Buzz? If so it will affect my future CPU purchasing decisions.
