Re: New contest ideas
Mantatronic gives a good idea for a contest : one contest for one coder. By example a FSM contest, you can use only FSM gens (Infector, Arpman...) and Fx (Phatman, Panzer Delay...). Or a Jeskola one ;) It sounds good to me. I've already made a song just using Jeskola machines for a contest on Buzzc...

If so, does it show anything under File system in properties? I've 2 hard drives that crashed and became raw ins...

Re: Missing machine: Soft Tone 3?
Ah yes the "machine does not work on that project but did before I saved the file" sometimes appears as "That machine did not sound like that last time I listened to the song before I saved it even though it looped 3 times and all the parameters were correct at the right places" ...

Does not ring any bells is it an VST?. If not, open the machine parameter window and check the name there. There is Ninereeds softy, Softy 1, Softy 2, Softy 3. Could be what you are looking for?

Re: New contest : The 500 kb bmw Summer Solstice Contest
i don't wanna crush your party and all, but after this contest (and more work on the wavetable) is done we gotta make the opposite: ONLY samples allowed contest (maybe with some size limit too) :) Time to cram out those oldsch0ol tracker skillsets and hope matilde doesn't crash on every other comma...

I have never seen one.boombaxx wrote:Hi trying to use Peer Lfo any tutorials on how to use it properly with vsts
1. Find the parameter you want to control. 2.Go to the pattern view and type it on the pattern . 3. Assign the LFO to the parameter value.
Hope it helps.

Cool. The "#" Key works for me also. If I may add it was not the "?" symbol it is the " ' " symbol (But on the same key as "?" without shift on my keyboard)

Re: unable to type pattern higher than 61 in sequencer
I see what you mean. It used be enough to select the pattern in sequencer view and press space but now you have to use the ? Key instead (at least on my keyboard it´s ?) It´s the key next to Enter in the "IOP" line.
Hope it helps.

Re: What *exactly* is a noise burst
This may be a stupid observation but the VU meter does not detect the noiseburst. No, that's very true - A lot of times I have noise bursts it shows up on the master VU meter as having an output of -inf db, or is that just the behaviour of Buzz representing >0db volume ? (erm, or is than not what y...
