Re: Utrk with outs - buggy?

yea well those that use utrk for every track should donate something anyway regardless. It's the right thing to do. I agree on that, without the fresh fruits, how are we gonna make the juicy songs? it makes sense. of course, also true about "the tree" where these fruits can grow, buzz its...

looks like clvn-_ from IRC #buzz fixed the 24bit sample explosions and clicking samples bugs. Go to #buzz on Efnet and thank him.
wow, that must be great news for many 24-bit buzzers!! people should give lotsa thanks!

Re: peer problems - peer lfo problems + peertrigger doesn't

by the way, theoke, does peertrigger work for you? (it's dead like a dead fish for me) I can't connect any input to it did you put it in generators instead of effects ? wow, actually I didn't, but for some foolish reason I had peertrigger in both generators and effects, and as a result (a bug?) the...

Re: peer problems - peer lfo problems + peertrigger doesn't

yes ... peer trigger is working as it should here since I'm on win7 now... do you think the problem could be related to not being on windows xp? (since other peer machines were updated as you mentioned) how do you connect input audio to trigger the peer machine? (I can't connect anything to it, but...

Re: peer problems - peer lfo problems + peertrigger doesn't

as far as code goes, its not too hard, you just have to send controlchangesimmediate when posinsubtick == 0, or something like that Reading another topic, it was suggested that IX updated peerLFO, then it might be possible to add this line of code aswell? if not, do you think you could constitute a...

Re: Utrk with outs - buggy?

Im sure if we donate some money to him we can motivate him to update Utrk. i find it's a great motivator! good idea  to be honest I find that utrk is working just fine for me (cause I don't use the 24 bit samples), but if I would be interested in the development of the features of such a m...

Re: peer problems - peer lfo problems + peertrigger doesn't

Another thing is, I seem to be unable to record peerdata from peerlfo to other machines. Try hooking up peerlfo to a tethys filter for example, the lfo data stream does make an impact on filter but if you try to record this, like you would moving slider manually, the data does not generate into the...

Re: peer problems - peer lfo problems + peertrigger doesn't

Sorry to return to this topic but it seems that peerlfo still doesn't work very well! for one thing, how does one enable the subtick feature which was mentioned in other thread? I can still only get 1 data from peerlfo 1 time per tick. Another thing is, I seem to be unable to record peerdata from pe...

Re: Utrk with outs - buggy?

Fuzzpilz hasn't been doing Buzz dev for ages and ages AFAIK. I doubt it was him who uploaded those machines in 2010. point taken. I'm not surprised he went on with his life, buzz has been on the run for 15 years or something, and I don't think he started out as a toddler. He did some great machines...

Re: Can we draw automations?

samplerate won't be an issue in buzz, you just do it on the subtick. no idea why SOUNDCARD latency should even come into play with automations. maybe midi, Exactly what I've always thought, but ableton has suffered from this problem ever since the beginning. even with people complaining it still ha...

you got those for newbuzz ? http://btdsys.lazytrap.com/remository?func=fileinfo&id=36 thank you so much! I didn't have them, as they were not posted on buzzmachines.com... I would have searched buzzchurch for info before making topic, but there's no such church anymore :/ peertrigger is still n...

Re: Utrk with outs - buggy?

Well I guess it doesn't really have that many other problems besides the bugs with 24-bit samples...I'm just always worried that as Buzz keeps getting updated it will eventually not work correctly at all. Is Fuzzpillz still around anymore? forgot about the 24-bit bug, never use 24-bit samples these...

peer lfo problems

Revised OP: This topic has come a long way! Many thanks to UNZ for sorting things out. First I was posting about problems with peer2peer and peer data being "impotent", this is till an issue. For example, peerlfo (the new one, from late 00's) can generate data into a machine setting, but y...

Re: Can we draw automations?

This post in the Ableton forum describes the problem I'm talking about pretty well....and has a few pictures to help illustrate, I'm not the best at explaining these things in text. I could probably do it all manually but it kind defeats the purpose of having any delay compensation at all...and the...

Re: Can we draw automations?

right but I'm talking about the drawn automation itself being delay compensated...not the output of the machines. would that still work? I understand Buzz and other music programs have machine delay compensation, but some don't also take into account the drawn automation when fixing the latency...s...

Re: Utrk with outs - buggy?

It's a shame Utrk has so many problems, because it's probably the most powerful drum machine ever created. And I've used everything from max, reaktor, renoise, ableton, Kontakt/Battery etc... still nothing beats it. I really hope the devs make sure it keeps working with all future versions of Buzz....

Re: Can we draw automations?

It would be nice if the automation could be delay compensated for the soundcards buffer latency size. (renoise and logic does this, ableton live doesn't) most programs have plugin delay compensation , but some like ableton don't also compensate the latency on drawn automation ...which makes all you...

Re: Can we draw automations?

peercontrols are limited to transmit data one tick at a time, so full resolution-curve via peer isn't an option no they are not, there's subtick timing now, and while its not at audio rate, its still a decent resolution for almost any automation. wow, I feel old now, I guess I haven't updated buzz ...

Re: Can we draw automations?

I'm surprised to see so many replies in this thread without the mention of PeerADSR, why nobody knows of this machine? it should be exactly what you're looking for. http://buzzmachines.com/machineinfo.php?id=699 You can store as many as 200 custom envelopes in it. so no need to worry about limits. ...
