Re: Tracker History
There are many things missing and some odd inclusions (maybe i'm blind but I don't see any of Arguru's stuff except NoiseTrekker, not even Psycle?). Some of the trees are wonky as well, specially with the later 90's early 2000's. Some of the links are clearly scene/dev based, others are based on sim...

Re: Smartelectronix Tubescreamer crashes every time
hey pinkj you need the 2002 and 2003 vs runtimes. you should keep them in any buzz backup you ever make.
you can grab mine here:
http://lazytrap.com/buzz/MSVCR71.dll
http://lazytrap.com/buzz/msvcr70.dll
Many other machines need them. esp. Apo's machines. Put them in your buzz root dir.

Re: Buzz / DAW sync
polac midi send can send midi clock or midi time code (better for hosts than clock & can include position), etc and imo, its the most accurate and reliable. you'd need to use a midi loopback device o/c.. i havent touched any other buzz midi out generator/machine since polac introduced his midi p...

Re: Saturn 1.4 beta
I work a lot with noise floors of my own recording (I record every buzz or whine I can find on my phone). Is there a way you can make it so that I can load a sample and use that instead? You can actually do that.. I did it with the original Saturn. I forget the format though.. took a few guesses II...

Re: Old school / chiptune arpeggio effect
GBSound, Speccy II and the unmentioned Krimzon AY-3-8910 native buzz machines are the best answers to this question if you really are after authenticity. The design of the arp/note modes of these synths and the way they are implemented are just as important as the sound generation itself. Simply sla...

Re: Oatmeal is crashing Buzz, can you help me figure out why
Right click on Oatmeal machine icon and goto preferences, then goto the Oatmeal tab.. the only options in the right hand section that you should have set are Sync Process/SetProgram/EditOpen, Mix Output buffers, and Multithreading (optional im sure, but ive had it enabled). Make sure to close/reopen...

Re: Error Message
Just try reinstalling 1502 again, dont uninstall..just install again with the same path/settings. If i had to guess, it looks like you downloaded 1502 then pasted your old gear into the new install afterwards. That could replace pattern xp with an outdated version. Even if that's not what happend, j...

Re: Can I use two QWERTY- keyboards at the same time?
I had a friend do this quite awhile back.. one keyboard was normal, the other keyboard was set to "permanent shift" -- the shift button was super glued down. removed on both keyboards. "sticky keys" was disabled in windows. you can't just do caps lock because it has no effect on ...

Re: What machines are not on Buzzmachines?
..only buzz page I ever really had was back in 1998 when rout, zephod, geonik, arguru, ynzn, etc., were making their first machines. I kept an archive of the old buzz dev mailing list up for a long time, back when it was useful. believe you're thinking of nool.. and it was really just as massive lin...

hrmn.. but you can't you do something like 1) create user control / xaml file 2) add xaml file to project (still referencing local file) 3) goto toolbox, find your control, add it to the form - bingo, methods are there? sorry for the back/forth.. more curious than anything. I know I've done things w...

Re: How do you load GUI XAML from a file?
It's been a long time, but I want to say you don't have to create any additional hooks at all (unless you want to expand) when you use Usercontrols. IIRC when you create a Wpf Usercontrol it also will create all the basic methods/properties and xaml.. I would have to do some googling as a refresher ...

Re: Can I use two keyboards at the same time?
There are several answers to this question. If it's regular midi (as in not usb) you can chain them with thru's and/or use a box like this: http://www.m-audio.com/products/view/midisport-4x4-anniversary-edition#.VeOzIxPD-9I You can use software to merge multiple USB MIDI devices as stated. You can u...

Re: handle multiple analogue In&/Outputs
Those machines are just called Polac Out and Polac In nowadays btw. When you add the machine it automatically names itself according to which driver you are using. In this case, Polac ASIO. Been using multi in/outputs for like 10 years now in easy cake fashion thanks to Polac.
