Re: How to jump to pattern xy

Yeah you can do this with subpatterns. You just put in the pattern you want it to play. There are additional subpattern effects like diatonic transposition and reverse playing that you can also invoke. You can invoke a pattern as a one-shot or as a loop. Make some music on pattern one, make a new pa...

multiple instances of BTDsys Peerctrl: good or bad

I am thinking of splitting my midi assignments between 4 or more instances of peer ctrl that will be given different midi channels. My initial experiments seem to indicate that this will work, but I wanted to check if anyone knows if this is one of those machines that you should only have one instan...

Re: MIDI Controller

Yeah, looks like a good controller! I don't have any personal experience with that controller, but I do use a piece of akai equipment, an MPD26 that I customized with some stuff from https://www.mpcstuff.com/ But yeah, you got some keys knobs and pads, so you should be able to do a lot. My main reco...

Re: LaunchPad, Buzz & Snowglobe Scale Walker

Well, thanks. Yes I play an electric classical guitar. I don't play venezuelan harp, but I wish I did! I like the bends he's doing. Had to LOL at the silent bass solo at 2:23 though. The band is high energy and then... silence LOL

Offline version of ROBOTPLANET with all 760ish machines.

Here's an offline version of the RobotPlanet Buzz machines archive. If you can go to the website by all means do. It isn't frozen in time like this archive, but if you're like me, your DAW computer is completely offline. It's a pretty big hassle to transfer files by thumb drive, which is what I usua...

Re: LaunchPad, Buzz & Snowglobe Scale Walker

Very cool controllers! I love the idea of making expressive use of synths, and this is one of the strengths of buzz. I like Novation stuff too. Very impressed since I got my keyboard the Remote 37 SL. Which I am very happy with. I wanted a keyboard that wasn't too big, but large enough to do stride ...

Re: PeerState feature request (or alternative solution)

Way to go guys, I am getting into peerstate so I'm glad to see some new info on possible snags with it.

Yeah anders, make sure to check attributes. Some of the most important stuff on many machines is in there.

Re: Pvst and synthmaster one help

I haven't tried the synth, but have you tried checking all it's outputs by right clicking the little circle with the zero? Also is there any panning issues, and is there gain? Also if you have a lowpass filter it has to be set all the way to the top, and vice versa for a highpass filter. There are a...

pattern view increase/decrease value

Supposedly you can change a set of values by using ctrl +/-
it's listed in the keyboard shortcuts, but as I understand,
these shortcuts actually add and remove note columns in
pattern view. I am not able to get it to work using either the
numpad or the qwerty.

What am I missing?

Re: Subpatterns wa?

OK got that working, thanks for the help guys. I didn't realize that it only triggers patterns from the same machine. Had waaaaay too much fun using the diatonic transpose and reverse effects.

One more Q: what are the global subpatterns for?

Re: Best machine for master note control of multiple machine

Woah great suggestion, I didn't think of that. Yes I am going to use this as my master. It is only logical. I can't use it for midi how you describe because I currently have 14 channels of midi that I'm using for live recording (it's awesome) but after a bit of experimentation, this method allowed m...

Best machine for master note control of multiple machines

I'm getting into the idea of having one machine that controls all my synths for when I want to coordinate them all, and see all their notes on one screen. As many of you likely know, but in case you don't, you can do this by going into the pattern properties of any machine and turning on the columns...

Re: IX Magic

Ok, I did a first look-through of the manual. Just trying to think of what creative possibilities you have engendered here. Correct me if I'm wrong. Could I use steps and sequences to put a synth into an endless loop of stochastic random timbre changes through the parameters? Cuz that would be tite....
