Re: hyperthreading
I haven't tried disabling hyperthreading on my i7_2600, but next week I can try and see if it changes anything in Buzz under heavy load (when close to clicking.)

Re: vu meters in machines and sequencer
For more information on VU meters, I've written some info here that explains the math behind what I think is a good VUmeter (the new JedShiva is based on this):

Re: Blok Modular, Zephod?
Someone needs to do something about this "real life" that seems to mess around with all of us. Someone has to put their foot down and say "enough is enough!" How can this be legal?
PS: Zephod isn't gone, so don't worry.

Re: African shuffle
Oh! :D Well that difference is so small, it won't matter. Anyway, I'm mostly hoping to either inspire someone to try writing a piece of music in this rhythm (and please post mp3's if you do!), or to step up and say "I think your theory is flawed because blabla" or maybe even "I am rea...

It's not quite done yet, but I think it feels better already: Zooming now zooms in on the cursor rather than the beginning of the wave Cursor keys left/right move 1 pixel. Cursor keys up/left zooms in/out...

Re: Welcome!
Btw, I am using new buzz 1131 on a Windows ME + KernelEx system and I hate that newer versions don't run on it and that it went the dotnet/WPF route. and i hate people like you :) Windows ME? I'd say that qualifies as masochism, not that I really understand the urge to inflict grave pain ...
