Sudden weird UnwieldyTracker2 glitch
This started happening probably about a week or two ago. If I use more than two Fuzziplz UnwieldyTracker2's in one project, I get weird clicks, drop outs and such. It's an inconsistent problem (as far as I can tell so far), and I'm not even sure if the more than two thing is a factor (that might jus...

Polac VST - pitch bend range?
I find myself rather frustrated trying to figure out how to change the pitch bend range of the Polac VST loader. 09 is the MIDI command, right? And FE is supposed to be pitch bend range. Yet, it makes no difference if I put in 09 FE00 or 09 FEFF. What am I missing?

Multi-sample XI instruments in Buzz?
Importing XI instruments via the wavetable works fine if they're very basic (one sample, with no looping or envelopes), but is there some way of using more complex XI instruments in Buzz? Does anybody know of a machine or VSTi that can properly load and use XI instruments?

Re: Missing machine: Soft Tone 3?
1. I guess you have tried to strip everything from the original file except M4wII and save it and opened it to test(if it is connected to an fx chain start by removing that). Have you tried to import that file(Or the original) Yep, didn't work. 2. I'm pretty sure you have changed presets on the mac...

Re: Weird graphics issues just got even weirder
Had exactly the same problem - http://forums.jeskola.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1010 The relevant solution being - Found out the source of the problem / bug - because the resolution of my screen is so high (1920 x 1080 - the recommended resolution according to my graphics card) the text is a littl...

Re: Weird graphics issues just got even weirder
did you change your window's dpi settings ? Not that I'm aware of. Is this the same as changing the resolution? With that, I'm at the highest setting, which is standard for my monitor, and everything outside of Buzz looks fine. btw, a picture says a thousand words, make a screenshot. Strangely, tod...

Weird graphics issues just got even weirder
I'll try to explain this as best I can... Before the latest update (ever since re-installing Windows and Buzz): * The bar at the top, with all the buttons and counters and such, was a bit enlarged. I never figured out why, but it looked like the icons had been stretched to fit a larger size setting ...

Re: Missing machine: Soft Tone 3?
M4WII is apparently broken, though, so I guess I'm still more or less screwed... Hmm... it seems to work fine on my setup. How is it broken? That's the weird thing. I create a new project and use M4WII, it works. It does not, however, work in this one project. Not even if I clone with patterns. I j...

Missing machine: Soft Tone 3?
Going through old projects, I find one that used the machine Soft Tone 3 (or possibly Soft Tone; I may have used three and then removed two). I can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone have it?

Re: How did you get your nickname?
I was naming worms. In the game "Worms: Armageddon". This was many years ago. I named a whole team of eight according to this scheme (surname of famous dead artist, random surname preposition, character class). The name Mozart von Robot stuck in the back of my head, and I relatively recent...

Unwieldy Tracker 2 effect parameters?
So, I'm relatively new to using Unwieldy Tracker 2 (been using it for a little while, but haven't gotten around to exploring every aspect of it), and I'm trying to get the hang of some of the effects therein. Specifically right now I'm scratching my head over the volume slide functions. Can somebody...

What would be the minimum specs for running Buzz reasonably?
I've been thinking of getting some kind of mini laptop (7" or so), possibly used (possibly to upgrade if necessary/possible), just to run Buzz (and pretty much nothing else) on, with a focus on portability. Has anybody got any advice on this subject? I don't think, for these purposes, that I'd ...

Re: Cheapo Do-Nothing crashes Buzz
I used the do-nothing to separate and group signals and toggle mutes and stuff. It's how I used to do it years ago. Deleting the dll seems to have done the trick. Thanks, mantratronic! I might try mcbpete's solution if I run into the same problem with other machines.

Cheapo Do-Nothing crashes Buzz
I know, I know, it's an obsolete machine that's practically useless. But in order to remove it from an old project, it first has to work. And it did, right before I recently backed up my gear folder and did a factory restore of my system partition (because I was having problems unrelated to Buzz). A...

Re: Two very different rap tracks
Excellent! Sounds very good. I enjoyed more the first one (switcheroo) in term of sounding, but that doesnt mean I didnt liked the second one. In Dollhouse I really liked a lot the keyboard/synth sounds and their melodic chords. How do you proceed ? Samples ? Buzz synths ? VST ? If you used buzz ge...

Two very different rap tracks
This is a comedy rap track I made, called Switcheroo.
This is a more "serious" piece, called Dollhouse.
Both are made in Buzz, of course. Except for the lyrics, vocals and mastering.
Please tell me what you think. And if you're curious about how I did something, feel free to ask.

Re: How you Equalize it?
Not entirely sure I'm following, but if you're having trouble after the punch, try fading out the release a bit, to make the bassy part shorter.
