Re: Enceladus Equalizer VST (beta v50)
I've fixed the weird display bug in the Mac version now. You should see it say version 50 now.

Re: Enceladus Equalizer VST (early beta)
Thanks, Anders!
The "dark" mode is typically only audible when using a large amount of drive in the bass area. It has to do with sound only.
Bypass button per band? Good idea. Hardware EQs usually have that too.

Random shout-out to the ACloud machine
Once again someone sent me a link to this GR-1 granular thingie, and I was like "yeah it's cool, I might as well just use ACloud by Intoxicat. It covers all my granular needs", and then I did this: http://www.robotplanet.dk/t2/Buzz_ACloud.flac Seriously, this is two .wav files and one AClo...

Enceladus Equalizer VST / AU (free)
Slightly off-topic, Buzz considering, but here goes nothing: I've taken a shot at writing a VST plugin which has a UI. It's the first one I've ever done, so watch out for noise bursts and instabilities. If you do try it out, please let me know if everything exploded or not. http://www.robotplanet.dk...

Re: PVST Offline processing mode
Slightly off-topic, but I'm curious... what does this mode do to typical VST plugins?
Disable UI updates? Switch to "high quality" mode?
I might have forgotten something in my few VST plugins.

Re: Sooooo, is buzz dead again ?
It has never been "dead".
PS: Most people use the 32 bit version which is the most tested one.
And it can actually load 64-bit VST plugins... because polac is a wizard!

Re: new pvst beta (updated 29-Apr-2018)
Is "Run in separate process" supposed to work for VST effects too? Because my three reverbs seem to be struggling over the same core. One will run just fine, but two causes stuttering, and three causes even more stuttering. What I notice is that Buzz shows all three using 33% cpu. http://w...

Did you message me anything? I've checked my various email addresses and see nothing. Unless you're the guy with the Saturn question? It's j_oachip@gmail.com without the underscore.

Hmm, pretty sure you had a working login. Actually, I did add some sort of functionality to reset one's password. The login page says: "If you don't remember your password, you can have your password reset and emailed to you by typing in your username alone and clicking "Log in". Bit ...

Oh bugger. It still crashes when loading a BMX that addresses inputs or outputs that aren't available... e.g. when receiving a bmx from someone who has more ins/outs, or when loading a bmx on a system where some of the soundcards are turned off or otherwhise removed. Here I have a rack unit powered ...

When writing a plugin, things to consider are performance (not all languages run at the same speed), portability and reusability of code (using a well-known programming language increases chances for that), and then a general assessment of whether learning a new programming language seems relevant a...

I just installed Buzz here at work (Windows 10 64bit, .NET 4.7.1) - all works perfectly.
I guess Buzz is GDPR ready. (That's one of the new things in this .NET release)

Re: Best way to add groove/swing to your tracks?
To be clear, the PVST shuffle doesn't affect the Buzz global tempo at all I'm blind. :D I was thinking about the Jeskola Groove machine. That one causes trouble with certain delays. The old hack of changing Buzz' master tempo by making a pattern for the master machine has even more horrible repercu...

Re: Best way to add groove/swing to your tracks?
The shuffle plugin will typically cause many tempo delays to misbehave badly, and it also won't give you an option to place an instrument whereever you want. If you're looking for straight up western-world triplets, I highly recommend onecircles' suggestion of setting "Rows per beat" to 3 ...
