Re: Vintage color

Cool song mag! I think every machine should have a song that comes with it. And the better the machine, the higher the quality of the song. So the best machine would have a song recorded all in analogue and then dithered down to 24/320 at 59 minutes long. Several gigs large download, better be worth...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 05-Dec-2012)

Hello, I've been encountering a peculiar problem with the loaders: whenever I click and hold on any of the knobs on any VST at all, when I am gradually changing some value for instance, after a few seconds the knob freezes and stops budging and once I let go of the mouse the GUI of the plugin disapp...

Thank you for helping to keep Buzz alive! I sometimes wonder what will happen when Buzz hits 2.0.. Will it go commercial? Also would be absolutely amazing if Buzz could work with rewire.

Re: Vintage color

I agree, Saturn is one of a kind. Once you really delve into everything it can do your head starts spinning...great sound, multi band, mid/side available giving you the ability to place any band in its own spot in the stereo field including separate m/s knobs for the drives, a four band EQ for each ...

Vintage color

Just wanted to see what people out there use to saturate their stuff. If you're looking to give that smooth lush sound to your drums or instruments, what do you do? Also, master buss versus track by track basis, the whole gluing thing, who's doing it, who is staying away? PSP NobleQ for warmth and I...

Re: Mini album

Thanks guys! @Szaszhareen: No mosquitoes here haha, although I was bit a couple of days ago by one of their rogue scouts. As far as my vintage obsession goes, I like to use some emulation plugs, my favorite being the PSP NobleQ. Also IK Program EQ, Nomad Factory Pulse-Tec, NF Program EQ...etc. Some ...

Mini album

I recently became obsessed with vintage style EQs and compressors, so I've been saturating everything I write. Got meself a laptop too so I've been messing around on my headphones in the yard...late at night..you might even say almost the next day...thus this little mini album was born. Written in a...

Re: Which one first to buy? Behringer BCF2000 or BCR2000?

They are the same thing. I don't think there is any difference. With faders it is easy to see where you are at, some knobs don't have any line indicating what value you're hitting. I always wanted to assign a ton of parameters to just one knob to make it into a sort of KNOB OF DOOM!!! It's a matter ...

Re: Which one first to buy? Behringer BCF2000 or BCR2000?

Depends on what you want to do with it. If you will be using it mostly for mixing channels, the one with the faders will work out better. If you're looking to assign a bunch of parameters to your controller to tweak live, I'd get the knobs. For Ableton I'd get the knobs one, and also a lot of produc...

Re: The real deal!

That actually makes sense, and it's hardware too, looks great! On the topic of Cedar, I spoke with a guy who's been in the industry for decades, and he said that Cedar really does the job! There's a lot under the hood, so it's a great piece of software. I just think it falls under same heading as th...

April 1st DONT'T MISS

PSP Audioware is offering their MasterComp for $49 just for today (April 1st), usually it goes for $249. I bought it and it's no joke: a serious compressor. Sounds amazing! For that price I strongly recommend it!

Re: The real deal!

Of course! This stuff is top notch, I have no doubts. But FUCKING GREEDY LITTLE BASTARDS they are! $8,600??? Not that I would ever use something like that, I realize this soft is for audio restoration, but lets face it: They did their homework, they figured their clients would be loaded with cash an...

Re: fewer h0s please

Hey Szaszhareen! Loved your Acid man! Took up the challenge and wrote a remix:) It's a little rough, but I enjoyed doing it. I sliced up your tune into several samples and just used those to create 90% of the remix, I did use some extra instruments on some drum parts, and a few extra harmonies. Hope...
