Well it's still 2018 so technically still 10 years old, although we're well over the actual birthday of this very nice compilation.
Just thought I'd bump this one here after all these years for it is the time for nostalgia isn't it.

Re: Buzz at 20
Alright, I sorted through a ton of old bits and pieces and managed to dig up some ruff cuts long enough to qualify. They are pretty rough as most of them didn't get to the mixing stage but it'll have to do. :) The "teknoise" bit is pretty exclusive as I didn't get the BMX to load anymore, ...

Re: Buzz at 20
Alright, got my old buzz running again, so I'll be contributing too.
I have a shitload of unfinished bits and pieces and some are quite old. Now I have to sort through them and find something worth sharing.
Any deadline on this project?

Re: missing machines on old BMX's
It could be that the original was a stereo-wrapped version of the same machine. I had a similar problem with some of my old BMXs and was able to fix it by running Lee Dragon's Mono to Stereo Wrapper on the machines I needed. If you don't want to convert your entire Effects directory, you can just c...

Re: missing machines on old BMX's
No, it was from the recent file list, or when I use File > OpenHerrFornit wrote:Did you try relaod in File>recent files... ?
If you did open the song by doubleclick, try saving the file first, then reload.
Works for me, of course the maschines must be in place.

Re: missing machines on old BMX's
Oh yeah, that error message in the status bar indicates the distort machine is in the wrong gear folder.
I just fixed that but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

missing machines on old BMX's
Since I reinstalled my machine a long time ago and reinstalled Buzz I never got my old BMX's to work again. They keep throwing up "missing" machines for some reason, even though I have the machines installed (in the MDB folder). Does anyone know what's causing this, and possibly how to fix...

Re: Cable guys browser
There used to be a feature that did something similar in buzz. You could search for a missing machine on the buzzmachines site by right clicking it. Unfortunately the buzzmachines site is down, so it no longer works. You still had to manually download, unzip the archive and copy it in the right fold...

Re: Smartelectronix Tubescreamer crashes every time
For the future record, these dll's need to be in your buzz root folder.
The gear folder doesn't cut it.
Any idea why these aren't distributed with the Buzz install by default? Rights issues oslt?

Auto include \buzz\mdb\gear folder?
New OS, reinstalled buzz and hit the "more machines" button to download all the machines. When I right-click in the machine view I'm only seeing the default Jeskolla machine show up when I search. I used to have all of them in there. Does anyone know if that should work automatically, or i...

Re: buzzmachines got hacked?
Yeah, looks like a simple md5 hash oslt.
Problem is the php code is old and old code is often insecure code as technology evolves so quickly.
A good reason to use a random & complex password.
Unfortunately I didn't, but at least I didn't recycle it anywhere else.

buzzmachines got hacked?
I know the site has been in zombie mode for a while with all the php error but just today I got an email from haveibeenpwned.com informing me there's a "paste" out with user account info from buzzmachines. The paste is here: xxx So to anyone with an account there, make sure the password yo...

Re: Recording midi drums with sgrid not working
Nobody? Nothing? Nada?
I must clearly be using the wrong machines to accomplish this then.
So what do you guys use to record some drum patterns using a midi controller then?
It doesn't have to be SGrid at all.

Recording midi drums with sgrid not working
I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I just can't get sgrid to record my midi hits/notes. MIDI is set up and working with Primifun so everything is fine there. I assigned some drum samples to MIDI notes using the sGrid midi setup and when I hit the nanoPad I hear the hits. However, when I press rec...

Re: Win7 or Win8? X64 or X86 on Buzz and OS?
I run the 32bit Buzz version on a 64 bit Windows 8 and don't have any problems. 64-bit Windows OSes are fully compatible with 32 bit applications btw. Otherwise too much "old" stuff would just break and render the whole OS obsolete anyway. Win 7 or 8 is more a matter of preference I think....

Re: Hello Buzz forum-
Some of the *trigger machines might also work.
PeerTrigger for example if you can hook up the audio. I haven't used these myself too much but IIRC they use audio levels to trigger other machines or samples.

Download all the buzz machines
Well, maybe not ALL the machines, but a shitload of them anyway.
Apparently this has been sitting there inside the new Buzz for a long time and I never noticed it.
So I added it to the Buzz wiki in case I'm not the only one.

Re: multiple midi controller profiles
I think you need to add your MIDI controllers as MIDI input devices in buzz. I did the same thing with 2 Nano Korg controllers a while ago. It's explained here on the wiki: http://buzzwiki.robotplanet.dk/index.php/Configuring_Buzz Assigning all the knobs is a tedious job, but I learned that Joachip ...

Re: song structure / mapping bmp on waveform
It's not hard to count bars, just boring.
Reaper looks good indeed for that. Might be just what I was looking for.
That tap-beat thing is handy too.
Thx!

Re: Buzz workflow: tips and tricks
Neatly organized left to right, top to bottom, put a mixIO in there somewhere, and then to my mastering chain, and then master on the right. Nothing too fancy. https://www.dropbox.com/s/2jacxdlp0o1akcs/Convicted%20v34.png omg, I don't think I ever used that many instruments/machines. I tend to be o...
