yeah anders for sure - the BRP is just an endless distraction. we have the best three reverbs ever right here in buzz - why look further? we are so blessed.

Re: What's your favourite filters and why?

jeskola filter 3 comes with buzz. i went through a long "gotta catch em all" phase with buzzmachines and fx, then promptly turned it around and went for a "i don't need all this shit" phase and spent a good 6 months with nothing but the stock machines/fx and a vst or two. jeskola...

Re: Recommended MIDIcontroller?

patternist i've not tried yet, good point bringing that up. jeskola live is pretty much the biggest tease of 2010 (? i think that's when that happened), an amazing leap forward from livejumphack, a proof of concept that is just dangling out there waiting for something to happen with. if i didn't hav...

Re: What's your favourite filters and why?

for resonant lowpass, jeskola filter 3. when working in buzz, I slap it on anything I need to filter, even if the thing has it's own filter, because filter 3 does it better and with less fuss. that is my go to filter and if I could use it in every DAW I would happily get rid of all the other lowpass...

Re: Tempted

eh. what can they do with it that hasn't already been done even better ITB? are they just trying to compete with the toy-like volca line? the 303 became a thing because it was cheap. how much is the new one going to cost?

Re: Recommended MIDIcontroller?

I picked up a novation impulse 49 earlier this year and was disgusted with the build quality and with the automap software. I admit that part of my disgust was probably due to the fact that I only used automap and the controller with live lite, which I find positively revolting. i'm currently using ...

Re: What's your favourite reverbs and why?

when i'm using buzz, I strictly use larsha funkyverb and jeskola raverb. they require so little tweaking that they seem almost sorcerous. i'm continually disappointed when using other reverbs in fancy licensed DAWs and hardware. I've been spoiled by these two magical machines. :)

evangelize. :) spread the good word of buzz far and wide to the interwebz and to people in your community. it would be nice to see more people on here learning to use buzz and asking semistupid questions.

Re: getting back into buzz

pvst is wicked solid. the only crashes I've had were with crappy free plugins, and they only crashed that instance of the loader, not the whole song. I quit using those plugins and haven't had any problems.

thanks polac! :D

Re: Request new Buzz Tools, Effects, Generators, Features

feature request: persistent midi map per song

I often spend a bunch of time mapping out knobs to parameters, then reopen the song later and all the mappings are gone. it would be great if each project remembered the controller mappings.

Re: Request new Buzz Tools, Effects, Generators, Features

i'm not sure if this is a feature request or a bug report, but: when you're looping a song, and you drop a template into machine view, the loop point in the sequencer disappears and the song position line just keeps going off into the distance. it would be cool if you could drop in a template and ke...

I would love this to work. I used to use old buzz on linux.
can one make a custom wine environment that has installations of prereqs like msvc2010?

Downloading from my new site works already: http://buzz.robotplanet.dk/ Logins will be given to developers once the site is more mature, but it's probably not gonna be a community site where every user needs a login. looks great, and it is nicely sorted. bet the search is hugely improved as well. m...
