Re: SnowGlobe TargetPractice crash

Update: bugfix in SnowglobeCore: machines would crash if using "index = n" selection mode for n > max index Anyways, I got a crash using SnowGlobe TargetPractice. In 'index=n' mode while playing sounds, changing 'n' to an invalid index crashes SnowGlobe TargetPractice machine. Thanks for t...

Re: scales and chords, major, minor, is this correct?

The qustion was: Can someone confirm if my setup below is correct? note 0,2,4 with major or minor scale. Does that mean that I can play the entire octave up and down without anything getting wrong? Your setup looks fine (I assume you have the scale rules there because you're changing back and forth...

I hope it comes in handy for you.

By the way, the bounce option for a bump+repeat rule behaves sort of like peerlfo.

Re: SnowMachines combined thread

Update 2016.3.5 -- ScaleWalker (also replace SnowglobeCore) -- peer rules modes: specific value random-from-range bump Bump is the most complicated of the options. You may choose boundary limits other than the param's max/min. You also (necessarily) choose what happens if the bump amount takes you t...

Update 2016-2-28 Scalewalker and SnowglobeCore 1. double-click on timing spec values to type in values 2. note-off kills associated cycle immediately * *Up until now, cycles would play out all the way to the end once fired. This change is sort of on a trial basis, and I may revert it if anyone (incl...

Re: scales and chords, major, minor, is this correct?

Incidentally, you might notice that if you play a series of chords in quick succession you can sometimes end up with notes cutting out. This happens when have the same note in two overlapping chords, i.e., you play a chord and hold it, play a new chord that has one or more notes in common with the f...

Re: SnowMachines combined thread

Just want to report that I've experienced no mangles here with new version. Tracks work as usual. Q: will there be a way to control activationbuttons A-Z via keycombo or shall I find out how to do it through AutoHotKey? There will be, eventually. No promises on a timeline for that, though.

Re: SnowMachines combined thread

Is there a way to make it respect the MIDI note-off instead of cycling through the whole loop when I let off? Currently no, but elekt was also asking about this, so I have been thinking about it already and have some ideas. One relatively easy way for me to make it available as an option would be t...

Re: How to control Buzz with MIDIcontroller? (Novation noctu

I know that all machines can be wrapped by polacmachines in some way but I don't understand how. You need to open up a "shell", which you'll be able to do if your index.txt file has this line: Polac VSTi 1.1, VSTi Shell You can also just click an empty spot in the machine view and type c ...

If anyone could hint at where to start The Wiki is worth a browse. are there still loads of freezing One great thing compared to how it was with old Buzz is that if you do happen to use a buggy machine, just the machine will crash and not the whole program. Makes it a lot easier to tell where the p...
