Re: New Menu and themes
Mine is moderately modern (though not very powerful I'll admit). The .NET version appears to be v4.0.30319.oskari wrote:0% on a modern computer.

Win7 32bit, .NET 4 I think (required for Buzz to work IIRC).strobotone wrote:which os and .net version are you running?

Re: New Menu and themes
This is really strange. New song, no machines, any output device (even silent), press play, CPU = ~50% with the extended theme but just ~2% with the default.

Re: peer lfo problems
PeerLFO doesn't currently support subtick timing. Shouldn't be too hard to do but I'm up to my ears in busy at the moment. I'll add it to my long list of things to do when the universe gives me some peace and quiet.

Re: New Menu and themes
Changing various settings had no effect :(. The debug console does show the following but it does so for loading both the extended and default themes... 01:06 [WPFTraceListener] Cannot find governing FrameworkElement or FrameworkContentElement for target element. BindingExpression:Path=Buzz.ThemeCol...

Re: New Menu and themes
Are you sure about that? It has almost no animations and it doesn't use any CPU here. Yes. I just made a new song with nothing but one Noise XP and Process Explorer shows Buzz using 50% CPU as soon as I hit play. The interface becomes sluggish and the meters look like they're running at 2fps. Buzz ...

Re: New Menu and themes
The dark theme is nice but it seems to kill my CPU for some reason. Running one track just now with the dark theme, Buzz used ~70% CPU. Running the same track with the default theme uses just ~20%.

Fuzzpilz hasn't been doing Buzz dev for ages and ages AFAIK. I doubt it was him who uploaded those machines in 2010.

Re: PeerCtrl > Master bug ?
I can't manipulate master volume with PeerCtrl at all, not by slider, not by pattern. Oops, user error. Face meet palm. Does it work if you enable processing for muted machines ? Makes no difference. maybe has to do with everything switching off when master volume is 0 ? I think you might be right.

Hey, just noticed the switch params problem has been fixed. Thanks! I'm looking forward to the day when the new editor takes over. Not long now I guess?

Re: New(ish) PeerScale
I haven't forgotten this but I still have no idea why it's happening. It just doesn't any make sense! Exactly the same thing happens when you move the slider by hand as when it gets changed by a pattern, there's absolutely no difference at all but it just doesn't work. Until I can figure out ...
