Re: Any generator to slice samples?
As Thoke mentioned it's a little tedious but I recommend using Unwieldy tracker for slicing at least as an exercise to visualize what granular slicing (pitch / time shifting) is all about. For instance if you don't know the bpm time of your loop but it's a standard 4 bar loop just use the offset per...

The old Unwieldy Tracker multi-out issue
I know this might be a repost because last time this was asked I believe the answer was "don't use Unwieldy Tracker with Buzz 1.2". But I've used Unwieldy Tracker in several songs and I don't want to refactor them from the ground up. Basically even if Utrak is multi-thread disabled in Gear...

Re: Modern Sequence Editor
Since you're moving so fast with this, I offer this suggestion for note representation from Renoise: https://www.renoise.com/sites/default/files/images/release-notes/2.5.0/matrix.png Obviously something fancy like vertical style piano-roll would be way harder to implement because note durations aren...

Re: Need some way to line up two wav's visually
Hey WDE, can you start a new thread for this or can I have a link to pin at the top of the latest version? I had to scroll to page 6 before I found the download link and I'm not even sure that's the latest version. For some reason the earlier ones are gone. (Chrome).

Re: Fuzzpilz Trigger Trigger
There's nothing telling any effect like this what to do with steady state info of an instrument like a guitar, so a tone of like 100 hz should produce a 100 hz trigger if that makes any sense. The only way to get useful results with something like this is to have a filtered and gated signal trigger ...

Re: Pattern XP mod
Does anyone have the mod working in Windows 7 64bit? I think some of the WPF stuff is not working for me like the chord generator. Here is what I'm guessing the error is: [WPFTraceListener] BindingExpression path error: 'DecreaseCommand' property not found on 'object' ''PatternControl' (Name='patter...

Re: Extra 'Bleeps n Bloops' when track is stopped
Sounds like trying to capture an error actually, which I guess is fairly common in glitch music, making this a good question! First thing I would do is check your CPU, if there are spikes after the song stops the machine likely has some overflows of some sort that are happening on note release. Capt...

Re: PeerLFO - Updated 7th June 2018
For what it's worth, I would want no noise-floor, even at higher frequencies. Having less random noise overall though would be great. I don't imagine peer stuff can work at the audio-rate can it?

Just have to add my two cents. I put Tethys on literally everything. Usually Tethys > DiscoThrillme VST for a quick big sound.

Woah! Very nice work! It even overcomes the limitations of the wonderful Audiotrack, namely that it can load samples from the wavetable instead of just into memory.

Re: Buzz - Best Software in History
Haha. Sometimes when I have a good session with Buzz and I feel like posting something like this. Also some helpful tips there. I wonder why you say the old pattern editor is better though. It's made it way easier to visualize different time-signatures for me (ctrl+t). In fact, the only time I go to...

Is there any way to change the color of the yellow bar in patternXP via themes? I really preferred the old black play-position line. Did a look at the xml and nothing sticks out.

Lil Polac VST adapter request: 64 bit slide and inertia
Hello Frank and thank you for the wonderful VST adapters that you have provided to the Buzz community. I don't think you get enough love for these: They're really the best VST implementation I've ever seen and I've been making music for over 20 years. One of the features I love to use is the paramet...

Re: Uuuuurrrrrgh!!!
Isn't this the classic "dialog-box" problem when programmers design UI and why dreaded things like "product" teams are needed? I often explain why Buzz itself appears so complicated to new-comers with this phenomenon: Because it has a programmer mindset to it, at least not as muc...
