I had to fix it in code. It will work in the next build.

Re: Buzz On Mac and Arm?

Buzz is developed on Windows technologies. A port to OSX would mean almost a complete rewrite and no machines would work either.

ARM isn't as big of a deal regarding tablets as is the O/S and technologies/apis available.

Re: wireless effects

it would be cool if a paging system was added to buzz's machine view, to give the impression there can be multiple views. that way wireless machines could be used for even further organization. im imagining something like the switcher in android, or expose on osx, mixed with virtual desktops (appear...

Adem - 'Launch Yourself' - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeUQ6FtGPAo

I've always loved this song. The multilayered vocals and syncopation really pay off.. not so big on his other tracks (more acoustic guitarish). But this is a fav.

I've actually been going through the Thinner netlabel archives because I haven't checked them out in a couple years. http://www.thinner.cc ...Plus Marko Fürstenberg always has some nice minimal tech/dub in store - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E531f4jMlUA Other.. What are you listening to?

Since theres no "misc" forum, and it doesnt exactly say this section is just for user-created music.. and afterall, if we didn't appreciate music in the first place, what other reason for us to be here would there be? ... seems appropriate to have this thread here. Plus, it'll pull a few i...

Re: Could we have this feature in buzz for the HD recorder?

Not nessicarily the wavetable, that was just something I mentioned as a side note about loop recorder. I don't know if "solo'd" is the right term either, because there should still be mixing involved but with signal removal. Like a a solo'd recording wouldn't help with the compression sort...

Re: Could we have this feature in buzz for the HD recorder?

Yes, generators/signals that end up using the same signal/fx path as others. The most common occurance would be compressors. "other hosts" as others would put it (and I cringe at), can suss it out. Using a simple bassline+drums running into a single compressor as example; from the begining...

Re: playing samples in reverse not working in new buzz

It works fine.. You need to offset the sample first to where you want the reverse to begin. Example; put FFFF in the offset column, then do a 05 (or 08 0000) on the same row with the note. 05 is 'reverse now', which is what you are seeing. If a sample is playing already, you can put a 05 anywhere a ...

Re: Low-End Version of Buzz

Not true for me... I still get these. its not buzz's fault, its the buggy machines. Still, it's not gone :) And for that matter, I get noise bursts even with machines comonly used by other people, not considered to be buggy.. One of these days, I'll do a proper investigation and sort out all machin...

Re: The New Hard disk Recorders Issue.

with old buzz, a parameter could only change once a tick, so an LFO could only have one step/tick, or 4 steps/beat in our example. [17:01:10] <@mute> that's not entirely true [17:01:38] <@mute> the rest is accurate tho [17:02:30] <@mute> lfo would update for each tpb on a tick (4 times by default),...

Re: Low-End Version of Buzz

I think you just described Buzz 1.2b

The modern Buzz isn't much more CPU intensive than old Buzz. It's more demanding in the memory department though, and requires a modern o/s.

Re: outro [critique requested]

Gains in the modular world are just as utilitarian as they are a gain. Cheapo Amp and Kibibu Stereo Gain as examples are often used in serial chaining where you want to keep the connection's amp/pan settings up to the 'ch.amp'/'gain' intact no matter how many times you disconnect or add to what come...

Re: The New Hard disk Recorders Issue.

iirc mute told you already that the M-Audio drivers got some quirks esp. in win7. also try to set your samplerate to 44khz. dont ask why .... just try it. nah, that's antonio.. my maudio 410&1010 pci are just fine and dandy. Also, unless I'm mistaken... HD recording is rendering, it doesnt rely...
