Multi IO design idea
Ok, here's a random brainfart that would take me quite a while to figure out to do myself. But after having played around with MixIO and the new Polac ASIO, I got this idea on how to simplify using multi IO machines. Instead of the current approach: http://www.robotplanet.dk/f/bc/multiio3.gif I want...

Re: Naming Parameters differently based on track number
I've had a similar need (and still do, in some way) for Mars: Parameter 1: Mode Parameter 2: Name should be different depending on mode. Parameter 3: Name should be different depending on mode. Right now 2 and 3 are just called "Treble" and "Bass", but that's because I can't chan...

Re: Problem? - Joachim's Uranus v0.6 beta
The Uranus is indeed beta for a reason. It requires sick amounts of CPU considering it's less than impressive sound quality. I was close to not releasing it, but a lot of people liked it's weirdness. I do have plans for it, though, as it is a part of my Planet series project. I just gotta figure out...

Re: 24-bit recording
But, let me know a few mastering houses/engineers that accept 16bit mixdowns these days (I'm not talking about 10-15 years ago). I recently saw a few links to some mastering studios that offered pressing on vinyl as well. I was shocked and disgusted to see that they even accepted mp3 files for the ...

Re: 24-bit recording
It's a good idea to work in a high resolution (bits and samplerate) through all the steps of the process of making music.
When you're done, you can convert the resulting .wav file to 44100 Hz, 16-bits.

Just tried the x86 version. Works great. But how do you do a note-off?
And how do you do chords?

Re: C++?
Agreed. For developing the algorithms used inside VST and Buzz effects, C++ is the way to go. But as a beginner's language, C# is probably the closest and most user-friendly way to get started. Once you've gotten used to programming in general, the move to C++ should be less painful. And there you'l...

Re: African shuffle
Cumbia is from Columbia, and there's a lot of black people there (especially at the coastal areas.) The influence from african music is quite apparent. Make sure you're using Pattern XP (not available in old Buzz), press Ctrl-Backspace to edit the pattern properties, and put in the value "10&qu...
