Re: Midi Problems : Akai MPD 26 in Buzz
Figured that out too! It looks like the easiest way to merge two midi inputs is to use midi yoke and midi OX from this website http://www.midiox.com/

Re: Midi Problems : Akai MPD 26 in Buzz
Now I've run into the fact that buzz only seems to want to take midi input from one source. So I can't use my keyboard and midi controller on the same machine. Is there any way around this?

Re: Midi Problems : Akai MPD 26 in Buzz
Hahaha the problem was fixed just by restarting my computer! I got this genius idea after I tried connecting to my old keystation, and that wasn't working either. So I'm now using 1495x86 buzz on 64bit windows 7 and it's working fine. If anyone tries installing some new midi hardware and buzz stops ...

Midi Problems : Akai MPD 26 in Buzz
I've just received my akai MPD 26 in the mail, but upon trying to connect it to buzz I receive a 'MidiInput Init Failed' message. I found two topics covering a similar situation. http://forums.jeskola.net/viewtopic.php?p=4644 http://www.buzzmachines.com/board.php?p=48145 The MPD can configure all it...

Re: about pads
I've heard the same negative reviews about the korg nano, although I've never tried it, so I don't know. I've just bought an akai mpd 26 that will be arriving in the mail, so hopefully it's good. I really don't know how to use pads to interact with buzz yet. I bought it more for the sliders and knob...

Re: Getting old machines to work in new buzz
After using google to search within the forums I was able to discover that others have the same issue and that you can get around it by loading the V2 as a vst. I'll have to learn how to use a vst loader now, since the V2 is one of my faves.

Re: Getting old machines to work in new buzz
I haven't checked the threading configuration in the kibidu doof xml yet, so maybe that's the issue there, but I think the problem with the farbrausch v2 is something different.

Re: Advanced tips and articles
Yeah something like a wiki, but organized a little more like a magazine so that nothing gets hidden. This is a great idea and would be so helpful if it got off the ground.

Re: Buzz workflow: tips and tricks
This is a hard one. For one, I think getting really good with the keyboard shortcuts is a must. I still find myself using the mouse to switch views when I should use the f-keys. I think that saving your projects in a breadcrumb trail after every change improves work flow, because it gives you the fr...

Getting old machines to work in new buzz
Hello! First let me thank the developer for creating buzz. I've been using it for a year and It's such an amazing platform. I'd also like to thank the community for creating such unique and fascinating generators and effects. I've just migrated from 1472 to 1495 and a few of my favorite machines hav...
