Re: IX Magic - Updated Jan 18th 2019
Yes, cool update, fixes some bugs. Magic is a fast machine, funny to use, and versatile. I am posting 2 files, one for irregular loop test, and the other for a turn page and end. In the second one, when I load the file, (after I turned on the LFO), the second page doesn't play , but if I select the ...

Why? what I see is the right hand of a guitar player, (or Venezuelan harp)onecircles wrote:(Sorry for my ugly hand)
I have also a novation SL, but aftertouch is dead.
Cool setup, Qsamo is great with a Keyboard, and pads perfect to play with Buzz.

Yes, and a file in my last post is buggy, a bad understanding of a param, and causes Magic freeze.thOke wrote:Hard to know if something is a feature, a user error or actually a bug yet!

Re: IX Magic - Updated Jan 13th 2019
My guess for the crash candidate is wde notebook (a generator) in the giant steps file. It seems you're right, I would never suspected notebook, :o and I use it in all my bmx, i like it, its useful. Before doing anything with Magic, I played your bmx, your great buzzer experience help me more often...

Re: IX Magic - Updated Jan 13th 2019
Can we alltogether fix the crash of "Giant Steps" too??? Maybe, I try with a new zip with the 2 last machines disconnected from the master, another one with lfo off (no autoplay), autoplay could causes the trouble but "Chorpse" or "Enceladus" also. Hope you will find s...

Re: IX Magic - Updated Jan 13th 2019
I am slightly surprised that you use outdated machines. For example you use an old version of peer LFO and BTDsys peer Ctrl? I could not start two of your tracks, I had to rename the machines and replace the older versions, strange for a pro Buzzer like you?! Or is there a reason why you keep the o...

Re: IX Magic - Updated Jan 13th 2019
For now, if you select Sequence 2 and look in the Magic status bar, you'll see it's not being triggered (the counter should count down). If you then change the the second Accumulator track target to 1 instead of 0, you should see Sequence 2 start to count down and it seems to work as I think it sho...

Re: IX Magic
Two days I turn around the machine, Magic is a great sequencer, a mix of Chahur's pattern XP and Snowglobe's ScaleWalker, with many IX goodies, Accumulator (threshold increased to 3024), the "page state" is a killer feature, chord system is very musical with the inversions system and the t...

Right click on Peerstate, select "Attributes", select the midi channel (the same of course you have selected in "MIDI Input Channel", just under "Attributes").

Re: PeerState feature request (or alternative solution)
Can someone confirm that controlling peerstate via keyboard-note works on their system so it's not a bug and only me failing? Yes, me  Works perfectly, in fact not, there is something new, inertia for cool morphing seems to be dead, there is a sort of retrig, but change the snapshots works fin...
Re: Surge
Yes, great machine, with good presets, I like the sound, cool to see free vsti with this quality, I didn't try the vocoder, each oscillator can be an audio input.

Another modular
This VST, Modul Air seems to be good, beta and free, very modular, tunable, not really a nice GUI, but effective, its the most important, complex but some patches.

Re: That screechy bassline house synth in Buzz?
Its typically a FM sound, so,Madbrain's 4fm is good for that, but you can got it faster with Qsamo, 3 osc, all sine mul mul, or mul sub for combine, mono mode, adjust osc tuning , portamento (or pitchbend), eg, no filter, and you can do something similar.
