I'm trying to figure out how to use the diatonic transpose subpattern effect in pattern xp.
It lets you input the key and transpose amount, but doesn't it also need to know what scale you're using to work properly?

Re: Piano roll with vst instuments?
can we input notes with piano roll? the only way i've been able to get notes into piano roll is by placing them in patternxp first, then switching to piano roll editor. Yes, you can input notes from piano roll using the pc keyboard by holding the note keys and pushing downward directional arrow key.

Re: Piano roll with vst instuments?
Wow you're absolutely correct, I just tried that and it worked! Is there any way to keep it from creating all the extra columns though when switching back to pattern xp from piano roll? With Qsamo it creates 32 note columns but with my vst synths it's creating 128 note columns. edit: I just realized...

Piano roll with vst instuments?
Are there any plans to make the piano roll work with vst synths properly? I can switch back and forth between piano roll and pattern xp with buzz synths, but this isn't working properly with vst plugins. I'd like to be able to input the notes using piano roll, then switch back to pattern xp to add p...

I have a cheap gamepad that I would like to use as an x/y midi controller, what is the best way to go about this in Buzz?

MIDI focus on effects?
I've noticed the "auto midi focus" feature only seems to work with the generators..is there any way to auto focus on an effect without double clicking to open the interface?

I use several instances in every track, haven't noticed anything unusual happening. You are using the newest version of utrk right?

Re: new pvst beta (updated 12-Jan-2014)
Isn't a false positive something Avira should be fixing instead of Polac? The latest version of the loader finally works perfect on my system, I really hope changing code just for a false positive doesn't cause any other problems.

Re: wavetable stuff
Hi mantratronic & UNZ, I found a minor bug regarding editing .mp3 samples. If you edit a .mp3 sample by either deleting / trimming or silencing a portion of the sample, the name of the sample gets blanked out in the wavetable. The sample is still available and accessible however. I have tested ...

Re: lots of crashes lately
Are you using the 32 or 64 bit version? Most synths have a noise generator these days, that really sucks about polac vst though. I haven't had a crash in over a year, I'm actually amazed at how stable the "new" Buzz has been for me.

Some of the older versions don't play 24bit samples correctly.

Re: Would you pay for commercial Buzz?
Nope I wouldn't pay for it, especially if it didn't have any of the buzz gens or fx...and it already has the best vst support of any DAW.

Re: Will Buzz ever go commercial/get updated?
FL Studio is only so popular because it's the most easily cracked and torrented DAW...I'd be willing to bet over half its user base didn't actually purchase it. Buzz has been free since around 1998 and was actually last updated just a few months ago.

Did peer lfo ever get updated with subtick timing? The version I'm using (1.2a) seems to have a lot of stepping even with inertia turned on.
