Re: CPU performance in Buzz 1349 much better than latest bui

And please do not call build 1349 the "classic" build, as its hardly so, and gives people the wrong impression. As I can see it had you fooled. Down with the rumors! I am also running the newest build on an i7 x64, and have never peaked using old songs, unless they were songs that always d...

Theme bug

Switched from iLKke machines (extended) to default, and ran into this. The new machines added after the switch were fine and had the default look, while ones loaded prior to the switch were stuck with the other theme.

Re: Machine View - 'Type to Search' function

aha, that works. I specifically remember clicking the arrow though and it also working. I guess its just habit of "right click > insert effect", but I do remember right clicking, then typing, and that working too. Unless I just really have a terrible memory. I like the feeling of knowing I...

Re: Machine View - 'Type to Search' function

Oh, and also, as far as this search function goes, at one time, were we able to right click an arrow between two machines, type a name, select machine, and have it automatically insert between those two machines? I thought this worked at one point but it doesn't now.

Re: Machine View - 'Type to Search' function

So no ideas on what I may do to fix this highlight issue? My question is, when updating buzz, does it overwrite ParameterWindow.xml? I'm thinking maybe I fucked something up when I was goofing around in there.

Re: Machine View - 'Type to Search' function

Update: No, it does work. Mine is no longer highlighted though so I can't see what machine is actually highlighted. Update 2: If I click a machine name, it will then highlight, and /then/ the arrows move it around as it should be. But it does not automatically highlight the first machine as it shoul...

Re: Machine View - 'Type to Search' function

Hm ... Well thats good to know. Mine hasn't been working though, and I have no idea why. Left and Right work with whatever I'm typing, changing the cursor from letter to letter, but up and down gets me nowhere. I just tested my keys in firefox here and they all seem to be fine. Wonder why Buzz isn't...

iLok and Buzz x86 (issue?)

I made a forum post in Buzzchurch a while back about my iLok VSTs that seem to load fine in x64, and then cause buzz to crash in x86. Unless they are loaded as a separate process, but the last thing I want to do is start having to remember which machines I need to hold "shift" for before I...

Machine View - 'Type to Search' function

This is something that has been bothering me for a while, well, its a few things. The first is that when I type in "polac" (searching for polac VSTi for example) , the list instead shows every VST in my directory instead of machine names with the word "polac" in them. http://i293...

Re: Polac ASIO driver (still looking for nonexistent driver)

Alrighty, I finally - after about an hour - was able to delete all of the extra "fw1082", "fw-1082", and "tascam" entries from my registry. I wasn't aware how many actually ended up scattered all about. So thanks for the help on that. So, Polac Asio finally works. To an...

Re: XML - Slider Colors

Thanks for that bit of info Strobotone, thing is, I messed with that a bit, and ... well frankly I don't know what I'm doing. I haven't had a chance to learn even the basics of the WPF/XAML language, since right now I'm focusing more on C#. So what would I insert to make the left hand side of the sl...

Re: Polac ASIO driver (still looking for nonexistent driver)

did you try using a new user profile? did you try some registry cleaner like ccleaner or spybot s&d? if nothing helps then your registry seems to be wrecked. I made a new user profile and tried there with no luck. I also ran CCleaner to no avail. does that card still show up in your device mana...

Re: XML - Slider Colors

@fetus (weird intro to a sentence) You've mentioned your bad eyesight before, what would work better under the circumstances block colours or would gradients work? Gradients actually work perfectly. My eyes aren't terrible, unless I'm not wearing my contacts or glasses, in which case, I have to be ...

Re: XML - Slider Colors

Yeah I did actually find the cached page, but I couldn't find the cached 'page 2' of the posts which is where I think you posted it. If I tried to use the link on the cached page, but it of course just said the page didn't exist. Would you be willing to post the code you have the picture you posted?...

XML - Slider Colors

I made a post about this a while back in Buzzchurch, and had some help reaching my goal. Since then, I've lost whatever code I used, and would like to try again. Basically, in short, my eyes are terrible when looking at bright screens. They irritate easily especially when things I'm trying to focus ...

Re: PEKeys.xml error on buzz x64 startup (edit: and 32bit)

Probably your security software restricting Buzz's priveleges. Happens to me first time after each install. I did just recently try out Windows Security Essentials, I could dig into it a little bit when I get home and see if there's an issue. M-audio? I do have an M-Audio Uno connected from my pian...

Re: Polac ASIO driver (still looking for nonexistent driver)

Neither one of these tips seemed to have helped my case. It still "can't find Fw1082" when I launch Polac Asio. Everytime I changed my DriverName registry value, I'd go back it was set back to ASIO FW-1082. I just don't get it. It doesn't exist. That .exe you sent also does nothing that I'...

PEKeys.xml error on buzz x64 startup (edit: and 32bit)

I attempted to update and open buzz x64 today and received this pop-up 3 different times while it was opening: http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm60/fetusink/error.jpg I don't remember this happening before. Has something changed? Did I change something? edit: It just happened with 32 bit as well,...

Polac ASIO driver (still looking for nonexistent driver)

I had posted this before in the old forum, but it never had a chance to be resolved. For whatever reason, if I switch my audio driver to Polac ASIO, its /still/ looking for my old hardware driver, which I uninstalled, and haven't used in ages. And so, I get this error message: http://i293.photobucke...
