Re: Juce plugins in bridged mode (pvst)

I'm also chasing a different problem with (at least) Rhizomatic Plasmonic and DiscoDSP Corona and even the SuperMassive effect where these plugins sometimes do not recall their settings correctly when loading a bmx file with more than one instance of the same VST. I haven't yet figured out exactly ...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 29-May-2021)

Dexed will only change the current cartridge bank and occasionally change the envelope display for operators 5 and 6, but never tweaks any other settings or even the dials for operators 5 or 6, and it always stops sending audio - GUI is still responsive, but it'll never sing again). Ok it works her...

No more feature requests! :D Haha, I'm really, truly sorry  I know I've been Mr. Feature Request, and I really, really appreciate all the additions you've made on my behalf. Sorry to be a leech. (But you will add that purple unicorn I requested in PM, right? You quite clearly said "no mo...

Incredible . I'm sorry for the belated thank you, but I've honestly been so engrossed with MSE and EB that I've plumb done gone went and forgot my manners - seriously! Re: Shading, is it possible for the shading to also affect the pattern coloring, or would that run into issues similar to how the b...

Re: EnvelopeBlock

wde, you're just absolutely killing it, Buzz is so, so lucky to have your energies devoted to it right now. One small quality-of-life improvement idea: When dragging a block, it'd be nice if the X-axis of the blocks immediately above and below it were "sticky", such that it was easy to end...

Re: Modern Sequence Editor

Ladies and gentlemen, for his next amazing trick, Wde the Astonishing will make my songs sound good! :D One bug I've noticed: The textbox popup for "Set Time Signature" is relative to the currently "highlighted" block - which means that if this block is currently off-screen, the ...

Re: Oceanswift plugins free now

HI just tried one of Oceanswift plugin (VST 32bit)(Windows 8.1 Pro x64) When switching between some presets ,synth starts to play sound automatically and won't to stop. :? Maybe I miss something. In this case, it's because it's set to Drone, sort of like VCA Gain on an ARP Odyssey. See below screen...

Re: Oceanswift plugins free now

These look really interesting, definitely not the usual run-of-the-mill virtual analogs.

Hm, does anyone know a way to use VSTs in Buzz...? ( :P )

Re: Any generator to slice samples?

There are several options to slice samples with buzz machines, but to "easily change tempo without messing everything up" i really recommend the free loopcloud player vst. Smooth pitchshifting, timestretching, slicing and much more. Unfortunately, Loopcloud pulled the free player shortly ...

Re: Note Detector

Yet another amazing tool from the mighty wde :D Would it be possible to add a "range limiter" to this to help clear up the occasional obviously-incorrect note (and also make it a bit more capable of handling isolated instruments from full-band material)? We can already kind of futz our way...

Re: MIDI controller mapping/customization (noob)

A possibly less-complicated way is: 1. Download the PVST tools from here (or this forum thread) (note: When choosing between "x86" and "x64", you want the version that matches your Buzz install , NOT your OS) (obviously you've already done this, but I'm including it for completio...

Re: new pvst beta (updated 27-Dec-2020)

It seems the Preset Factory does not work with VST3. Confirmed this on a fresh install. Reproduction: 1. Load a VST3 2. Menu: Presets > Preset Factory ... 3. Click "Randomize" Exactly what happens varies slightly from machine to machine (Arturia V Collection machines will switch to the ran...

I'm getting some pretty heavy CPU load on this version. Like, from 8-10% pre-update up to 20-25% post-. Try disabling real-time resampler from settings. Come on man, what did I say about breaking the fourth dimension to solve issues before I even report them? At least get us some winning lott...

1.2.4.3 Bug fix. I'm getting some pretty heavy CPU load on this version. Like, from 8-10% pre-update up to 20-25% post-. However, the version I'm comparing it against is at least a few versions ago - right-click About (in the "old" version) has a .NET error ("no imaging component sui...

Re: PeerLFO - Updated 7th June 2018

Phase 0% should be the same as 100% unless I'm very much mistaken. Glitches will happen whenever you set manual phase to anything while playback is happening. You can use inertia to smooth the transitions. It took me by surprise, too. I originally tried 100% as just a random initial step. It worked...

Re: PeerLFO - Updated 7th June 2018

A minor semi-bug and solution I just worked out - posting here mostly so it might come up in a search if someone else has the same issue (or, probably even more likely, I have the same issue again and forgot how I solved it :D) PREAMBLE: "Random" (and "Square", to some degree) ca...

Re: Noob MIDI question…

Thank you for the reply, River Cricket. Do I understand your post correctly that to set the Incoming Trigger to "Disable Processing" as you suggest, I need to do this in Bome MIDI Translator? I don't have Bome, so I'm not sure how to work this otherwise. Or is there a setting in Peer CTRL...

Re: Noob MIDI question…

First, I've bound the mixer's pan knob to the controller's Right Joystick X axis. Problem is, I would like to be able to pan to a setting (say hard left or hard right) & for the setting to remain. But because the joystick defaults back to the center position, the pan setting goes back to center...

Here's a picture of what I'm talking about with WDM vs ASIO, and how the resulting Polac Audio In machines look in a project.
