Buzz workflow in video and compositing pro software

Autodesk Toxik is a commercial software to make video editing, compositing, fx and such.
What's fun is that it works a little like Buzz. There is gens (pictures/video) and Fx and a master called output
Nodal workflow :ugeek:

There is an interesting thing in the way you connect 'machines' like here :

A kind of 'wheel of choices' appears when you want to connect bloks. Maybe this could be an interesting features to use in Buzz ?

maya has had a similar context menu for years and it's users have been hating on it forever, I've always liked it

You're right even if it seems more in a Blok's way.
Didnt know about Maya. I'm more around 3ds max and now I'm trying Blender which is awesome, a kind of Buzz in 3D graphics :mrgreen:

iirc there actually is an add-on for Blender that pops up a sort of similar wheel.

(Anybody who gave up on Blender before 2.5 really ought to give it another look)

Ah! Great cat, snow :mrgreen: You did a good job on this one. You did all the 3D of the cat (body included) ?
Joa, who knows, Buzz is in perpetual movement 8-)
Anyway, this is another proof of Oskari's genius as it used it in 1998!!! :ugeek:

Thanks! Yes, body and head from scratch. It has a full armature and deforms pretty cleanly, but I've never done anything with it.
Here's the one I went the farthest with: a picture my daughter drew dancing to a Shytan piece -- Paper Dancer

Cool one, very well done. Truly interesting :!:
I have to say that 3d creation is something amazing as it's a new artistic branch.
It uses new rules and law. Fascinating :mrgreen:
Another 3d oldie I did is attached below (in zip as avi are not allowed...).

Hi Snow,

thanks, I made it with 3ds Max.
As far as I remember the frenchybuzzers were not very active here at buzztunes.
Tinga is TEH guy :mrgreen:
The frenchybuzzers forum disapears one day as the host closed it (and all the forums created in the place, a bit like Buzzchurch...).
But I'm very excited by Blender even if I like 3ds max a lot.
