USB MIDI question

Post by peacemaker »

Hello,

I've got an E-MU X-Board keyboard and a Korg Nanokontrol, both are connected via USB.
So each of them has its own virtual MIDI host adapter.

They're fine devices, but it sucks hard that I can't use them both at the same time! :x

So what can I do? Is there some kind of "MIDI merger" software? I googled but most of the MIDI software tools that I've found are pretty old and probably wouldn't run on Windows 7 x64. (MIDIOX, MIDItrix, ...)

Your help is very much appreciated.

Midi-OX/Yoke does work, I use it on win 7. Also loopMIDI works (http://www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/loopmidi.html). Don't remeber if I tried loopBe, but pretty sure it works also (http://www.nerds.de/en/loopbe1.html).

You can also use a Polac Midi In machine, but with a midi loop you get to define your controllers in Buzz's preferences, which is handier for knobs/faders.
