Awkward and disappointing compared to Buzz although Reaper is not bad

Though to be fair, not many folks outside these forum walls are probably even aware that Buzz has been 'rebuilt'/'redeveloped' since the version in the late 90s. I've never seen people mention it online at all ... (as I say apart from here/BuzzChurch or if I try to plug it somewhere else)

It's just a matter of taste, reference, experience, workflow, esthetics, habit, etc. I for one have used Cubase since 1995 and Buzz since 2000. They are both great, and both have their strengths/weaknesses.
"it's not what you use, but how you use/abuse it".

Meh, just thinking of this vs. that makes me tired.

If I was starting out fresh, I would probably go with Ableton since you can do some really cool things with it.
