qsamo record sustain pedal value?

Is there any way I can get qsamo to do this for me? I'm playing with a sustain pedal, and qsamo is using the sustain data when i'm playing but it doesn't get recorded to the track. I'm not seeing it in any of the parameters under pattern properties either.
If I can't get it to work this way I'm going to see if I can set my sustain pedal to transmit 0 and 128 and bind that to the release parameter. Should work maybe!
