KATASTROPHE!!!

Post by magmavander »

OMG. This morning my HD died!! Just the day before my conference.

Luckily my son had an old computer and I have make it re-work today. I re-installed Buzz and I have two few problems.

Do I need to wrap all fx dll with LeeDragon's Stereo wrapper ? If I try to use it (V.2.0) it give me an error message about missing dsplib.dll which is in the buzz root folder.
Do I have to put the Lee Dragon's Mono To Stereo Wrapper.dll somewhere in the buzz folder ?

I dont think I will sleep this night

I only ever used the stereo wrapper from the fixkit. I don't think I had to do anything special to make it work but it was a loooong time ago. I ditched all the stereo wrapped machines after a while.

Sorry about your HD. That's awful. I think it's possible to recover data from a dead HD, though you may have to pay.

Yep!! Done. It was a total improvisation as I lost all the files I prepared for the conference
But all in all it was cool to make. Thanks to tinga for some vids he made, I used some to show how generetaive music works, I showed the one with musical chairs and another one with the xbox pads + the great video where his friend gustavo plays percussions and trigg music in Buzz thru a microphone and Polac audio in (fantastic tool, I have used it before the crash...). Very succesful videos 8-)
I write a short demo bmx to show people how to play music live with xbox pads.
I'll upload it later for people who wants to try.
Thanks for your help ;)

BTW IXix, I missed split 1.08 and I wasnt abled to play in Buzz some tinga's file (that's mainly why I used videos). Where can I have it ?
