Sample rate should in theory be whatever your soundcard can handle. Best bit depth is float 32 (I think) but I've had trouble with glitches when exporting to that format so you might have to use int 32. I think int 24 is pefectly capable of reproducing everything you're ears are likely to notice though. I think you'd have to turn it up really loud to hear the difference but I'm not an expert.

Thanks a lot IXix. I never bother before but now I know :D ;)

Is the sample rate important too ?

Cheers!!

That's still a hotly debated topic! I don't think there's usually much point going higher than 48k. The argument for 96K and higher is that it prevents wrap-around aliasing causing low end distortion but whether it matters or not depends on the musical content and processing involved. This is a good post on the topic... https://productionadvice.co.uk/high-sam ... und-worse/

Perhaps downsampling makes sense, internally 96 kHz and then downsampling to 44.1/48 ?

Personally I use 44.1 all the times, because of compatibility reasons to (freeware) plugins, sometimes they are capable to handle max 44.1 kHz. So I don't have to care about all that .... ;)

I dont hear the diffrence anyway

Thanks guys :D

I have a collaboration song with a singer called StikeBoogie that will maybe released commercialy (crossing fingers).
I have to send stems of the song and this will be mixed in a professional studio, that's why I asked about sound quality.
I will try 32 bits float, if it dont work well I will then use 32 or at last 24 bits int and samplerate at 48khz.

If anyone have advice, it will be welcome ;)

STRIKEBOOGIE two songs I love :

https://soundcloud.com/strikeboogie/wha ... it-version

The first is more rap, the second soul/rnb.

Oh, professional production is an other story,

(24bit/96 kHz for premastering is often recommended. Only amateur knowledge, some one else should tell ... )

Perhaps it depends on the skills/wishes of the guy who does the mastering ...? ;)

Let us know ;)

It seems, after reading a professional advice, that 24 bits and 44.1hz is ok. That's what I will use 8-)
Dont forget that CD quality is 16bits/44.1 khz.
The 8 bits in addition (16+8 to get 24) when working on the sound is to have more room for applying fx or mastering.

Yes, the 24 bit resolution seem to be more important (and more agreement) than a higher sample rate.

As I understand, it depends also from the used soundcard/audiointerface.
Here the ASIOforAll view of my SteinbergUR12, it has 24 bit . Don't know if BUZZ does use it all the times? Perhaps it depends from the plugin, too?
