Filter envwlop / amp envelope in sampler

Post by Kooshan »

As far as I know there exists 2 samplers in buzz: matilde and unwildely tracker. Anyway to have envelopes within those samplers ? Like the way you have in regular samplers out ther? For example this is possible in renoise as envelopes are parts of the sample properties.

Yes! They're in the Wavetable view. The envelope editor will show up when you select the Parameters tab (next to the wave editor tab). Matilde has separate envelopes for Volume, Panning and Pitch, and Unwieldy also has them for filter Cutoff and Resonance.

You can find some details (a bit outdated) in the Buzz Help file or on the Buzz Wiki:

There is now a brilliant third alternative with drawable envelope curves! AudioBlock:

another promising machine is "envelope block": use it with "modern sequence editor" all by WDE
