ok, that's odd, is Settings/ProcessMutedMachines the same on both builds?
by the way, ignore my previous comment, it's wrong and only applies to the (unreleased yet) mixio 2.0.
i want to know if it's a problem with the GUI or Buzz:
if you right click on mixio and show parameters, and then do a SOLO there in parameter window, do the MUTE parameters move on x64?
The way it works in 1.3 is that mixio sends a ParameterChange to itself on SOLO, and it looks like that's not happening on your machine.

Hello,
I have installed version 1.0. No problem for installing.
When I launch the bmx made with the previous version I have this message (see picture)
- Buzzx64 1.0.jpg (16 KiB) Viewed 7174 times
The french parts means :
cannot read past end of stream
But no problem when I click ok and finish loading the bmx and play it.
I downloaded and loaded the remix of this bmx by MrDadrox and no message.
Thanks!!!
PS : this bmx and the remix use only machines provided by wde.
PS2 : very nice quick start tutorial

Had crash with collapse of buzz x64 1.0 by starting signal analyisis of a 32 bit vst instrument while song playing (OLDER SONG). The headline of the error message was windows base ... couldnt make screenshot.
I have parallel installation with x86 buzz without reg cleaning.
Signal analysis mode was 'VST'
EDIT:
2nd run of x64 1.0:
Loading 2nd time the same song, buzz asked me for dlls of some vsts (in sub folder meldas), which it did not at first loading (!?).
Startet signal analysis of the context menu again, same error "windows base, stopped distributing processing" or something like that. This time I got
BSOD 0x000000008 when changing to firefox. Same for non vst machine.
EDIT3: I did reinstallation in a different installation folder than 32 bit, sorry, no BSOD now. but error when trying signalanalysis VST plugin

EDIT2:
tested snap machine a bit. Looks like only the last moved machine is bening snapped to grid. ok, Its not consistent hmmm, ahh its a matter of focus, you can use either one or all machines !!! So no bug !!! Nice!

yeah this looks like a bug in buzz64, or at least it doesn't behave like buzz32. for some reason parameterchanges to itself are not sent / received by mixio... might have something to do with threading across the bit bridge. will have to look into it if there's something i can do, don't have a buzz64 setup yet. also, mixio2 will probably do it different anyway... is anyone else having the same problem?

Hello,
so it seems my problem happens only with this particular bmx (see my previous post in this thread).
I have tested another bmx I created just for that with connections and patterns to be sure.
I reloaded the bmx and no more message. Same when I start a new buzz session.
I suppose it was a particular machine that makes this windows appears.
The Modern pattern editor is really interseting. First I didnt understand very well how it works but after clicking everywhere I have to say that I'm convinced
Thanks!!

Hey like this release more and more,
Feature requests:
-A modern design for me is also rather a horizontal sequence view than the vertical.
-Then another cool feature, but prob Oskaris part, would be to see the level meters at the left and right vertical edges of the machine box in machine view ! Then you could better see the signal flow while playing!
-Snap machines: would be cool to have automatically snap to grid after moving and loosing the machine!
-Did you find a way to implement the time signature in min:sec.xx ?
Thanx a lot and nice celebration days!

Hey mag & temporalsounds,
did you install x64 2022 edition alone or parallel with pre-installed x86 version?
I think the parallel installation does bring problems, e.g. polac vst path problems while loading "x86-songs" (vst not found file rquester)
Thanx

Hi HerrFornit
I have installed my old -both versions 1503 x86 build and 1503 x64 build parallel, time ago on my computer.
I installed WDE x64 2022 only version on children's computer (Windows 11 ),for trying UNZ mixIO.
I just copy some .dll files from children's computer to my "old" 1503 buzz x64 (my computer).
If i want to open bmx file on my computer uploaded from MrDadrox on bTunes, I got this message:
I dont have any issues for finding VSTs,see my videos above..

Some fixes. BuzzEngine32 might not behave exactly like buzz32, looking forward to try mixio 2.0

Just tries to install BUZZ 2022 edition onto a fresh
Win11 Pro system. Following errors occured in a row for many files when skipped. Error 2 means: " The system can not find the given file". Same for run as Admin.

Do you have any antivirus installed that has some sort of file/folder guard ? Back when I had Avira Antivir any installer that wrote to my Documents folder would instantly fail (to protect it from ransomware damage) unless I white-listed the installer executable.

Hi mcpete
BINGO!
It was the windows defender which I use since many years now, haven't had this before, but I am not experienced with W11. Unfortunateley messages were silent so I did not notice the blockings!
Thanx a lot for caring!
