How can I tweak the params for the other formats shown in the new HD-recorder and record for example to ogg-files in the NewBuzz? I know I can use audacity and other progs, but why shows buzz the possibility to record and I cannot set the params? Do I miss something, has someone a link to a tutorial or so? Thx in advance ...

Some questions referring to HD-recorder
Is there a possibility to record directly to mp3 in the NewBuzz using Lame, or so?

Re: Some questions referring to HD-recorder
you can use polac asio in to record directly into buzz.
edit: oops, you're asking to record directly to mp3, i misread that. afaik, no we can't record directly to mp3 or ogg with hard disk recorder, only to wav.

Re: Some questions referring to HD-recorder
you can actually record to .ogg (and some more formats nobody cares about), but not mp3, just choose the type in the file save dialog.

@ szaszhareen:
and I have to be more precisely ... I mean bouncing a whole track to mp3 directly in Buzz ...
@ UNZ: I know I can "export to *.ogg, but I cannot set bit depth, high-low-path etc., just thought about to do it directly in Buzz ... like in the old days ... only better
and perhaps choose the vorbis-version or lame-version I want to use ... for a special track, but well there's enough tools around ...
Added on 12-02-2015: O.k. I found out that I can tweak the recording settings (e. g. Bitrate and Hz) by Polac's Audio driver settings, BUT if I do so, some of the buzzmachines sound completely different and a bit out of tune!
So, if I start a project and want to export it finally with a sampling of 48000 Hz do I have to work the whole project in 48000 Hz and why do some buzzmachines sound completely different at different Hz-rates, is there a practical solution? My soundcard seems to work with 41 and 48 Hz rate? Can some
help, please
thanks I'm familiar with Polac's Asioyou can use polac asio in to record directly into buzz.

no solution, those machines are simply broken pieces of shit.Buzztler wrote: why do some buzzmachines sound completely different at different Hz-rates, is there a practical solution?

Is there a list of such machines?UNZ wrote:no solution, those machines are simply broken pieces of shit.

the closest thing i can think of is this http://buzzwiki.robotplanet.dk/index.ph ... _blacklist.IXix wrote:Buzztler wrote: why do some buzzmachines sound completely different at different Hz-rates, is there a practical solution? Is there a list of such machines?UNZ wrote:no solution, those machines are simply broken pieces of shit.
if you find any such machines, please add them here (in a section about samplerate problems).
iirc some old arguelles machines had these problems, and the 909, but don't quote me on this, i sorted out all the broken gear years ago.
edit: seems buzzwiki agrees on arguelles machines "They also do not take different samplerates into account.".

Thank you for the hints UNZ, I'll think I'll have to check the buzzwiki, it seems some of you guys worked a lot on the wiki-site since I had a look at it ...
and well, no problem, I'll dig deeper and perhaps I'll be able to start a project with a higher rate one day ...
